Tell us story how you guys started in ballet, did your mom did ballet?
I started real classes sep 5th and next Monday I start my duet for nationals and I also have line which is teen and seniors and juniors can be invited group dance with over 20 plus people. Then I have teen small group. Juniors are usually 3,4,5, 6th, and 7th grades, teens are usually 8-10 but if your good 6th and 7th can be also in teen. Seniors is 10-12 sometimes freshman but rare.
I do go to real school and I’m a competitive dancer plus other styles. I always get asked how to I balance it, it’s because my school is very flexible schedule.

Questions to ask:
1. When the others were Ellie’s age, were they around the same talent level or were they more or less progressed?
2. Are they all in the same level class or different ones?
I can answer the second questions two of them are professional dancer and the rest are pre-professional and yes on different levels, they are also different ages
We are all in different levels. Elliana is on the shorter side height-wise but not quite as short at her age as Rach. Everyone has different rates of maturity and different strengths and weaknesses. Savannah, Jillian & Michelle seemed to get a lot better when they were around Elliana's age. Rachel has always seemed really coordinated for her age. Caroline was more behind when she was little but then caught up. Elliana's strengths are similar to Savannah's--balance & control. :)

What does your mom do while you are in class?
She goes to the library to work on projects or grocery shops, etc. Our dad also goes into the City sometimes and works. They are both making a lot of sacrifices for us and it is challenging for them sometimes.

How the heck do you afford to put so many kids into such an expensive program? And how did you manage to give birth to so many talented ballerinas? I'm not trying to be rude. I am genuinely curious how a family so large in such an expensive city is able to do so. And where the dancing genetics come from.
Thanks! And it is expensive!! We live in NJ (not NYC) so that helps. Our mom was a gtmnast and our dad likes the arts (music & acting).🙃

Yes! We love Nutcracker! We will be featuring several Nutcracker-themed vlogs coming out in December. Our annual Nutcracker video will be out on December 20!
