Great video. We just finished posting a series from Belgium & the Netherlands as well. Just wondering if got any sort of permission to fly the drone there? We flew a lot in Amsterdam but with the laws in Belgium being so strictly against it we didn't risk it. You're making me wish we had though haha.

Going to Brussels and Amsterdam next week. So is Amsterdam OK to fly drone? Not bring a big one - just bringing my small Yuneec Breeze. What are their restrictions? Thanks for advise!

I’m going to Bruges now! One year late, but if you’re flying a drone under 1kg for private use, just make sure it’s during the day and not more than 10m over houses :)
Regulation of drones is so strict in Belgium because of terrorist attacks while Holland didn't really suffer from them. Nowadays situation is much better

It's a 'city' in Western Flanders, close to Kortrijk and Lille (France). It's famous for the military graveyards in its area, from the first world war. The old buildings on the main square look a lot like the ones of Ghent and Bruges. That's why +London's Journal got confused I guess.

What is the curent law in belgium ?
I'm planing to fly with a dji phantom 3 .
The laws here are very strict. A Phantom 3 type drone requires a pilots license, minimal obstacle distance is 50m and you're not allowed to fly over crowded areas. Any ideea how much cost a licence in Belgium ?
