How to Make a Group Email in Gmail - Two Methods

- In this Gmail tutorial, I will show you two ways to make a group email. Creating a group for email will save you time when sending messages to a group of people. The first way is to go to Contacts and either add new contacts or use existing contacts and add them to a label. The second way is to use Google Groups to create a new group and add members. When you create the group, a new email address is created for the group.

My team and I used another project management tool, but after so many suggestions from the team, I decided to switch to Google. I am trying to create a new google group and i have almost 2000 Email ID to add in this group. When i copy & paste all mail IDs, there is a mesaage flashing that you can add only 10 members at a time. When i hit create group, i can see only 11 members including self. So, my objective of adding 2000 mail Ids in one single google group is not fulfilled. Is there any restriction on numbers? Pls guide how to create this group with max number of E-Mail IDs into it? Help pls

Well, the bcc does not hide email addresses in my llist when I send a copy to me in gmail, however, as the nonsender I see that it DOES hide the bcc emails. thanks

Today i just search automatically forwarding e mails to a group possible or not. Thank you. I will test it. Nothing can be learn without dirtying hands (dirtying !! Sorry my english)

This was very helpful, but for some reason when I add emails to my group and try to save them, I get the error that the email addresses are outside my organization. And I can't figure out how to stop it from allowing only organization email addresses--makes no sense. Do you know?

Thank you very much for this lesson. I have racked my brain trying to figure out how to create a group with external members. I am receiving an error message that states the external members are no in my organization. Do you have a fix for this setup? I am the Adm on the account but not sure where to locate the setting. ERROR MESSAGE: An error occurred 2 users are outside of your organization. Based on your group or organization settings, you can only add organization users to this group. Contact your group owner or domain administrator for help.

I have created a label for a party invitation with 125 emails listed. I want to send bcc. After sending the invitation group of 125, will I be able to check to make sure they were all listed. Will this show in my Sent mail?

I have had some problems in sending group emails using a google group. My list is 270+ members. A high percentage of members report the email sent from the google group in delivered to their spam/junk folder, or not at all. Several members have added the name of the group list to their email contacts. This works for some members but not for others. Also, the pattern is inconsistent. Some members have successfully received group emails for quite some time, then, suddenly, group emails et delivered to junk folder. Do you have any tips? I appreciate your video. Well done!
You didn't mention how to add members if they are not already in the contact list. Do we have to add each of them in a separate contact and then add them? What if I don't want each of them in my contacts but only want to add their emails to the group. How do I add their emails while I am in the gp mode.

Not able to add multiple email addresses to a Gmail label / group. So when i send a document to the group there is no one in the group
So if someone in the group wants to start a new conversation on a different subject, do they just type in the name of the group? Some people in my group aren't as tech savvy or they dont' have a Google account. Will they have a problem with the group?

I hate Google sometimes. I have 6 email addresses that I want to send a group email. I don't want or need to create individual contacts. I simply need to send the email. Why is this so difficult?
Realize that after creating a new label (group), then you will have to reload your gmail page in order for it to register the new label for use

One note - as of 05/2023, Google Groups can no longer be found via the "waffle" menu with a free gmail account. I had to do a separate search for "google groups".
