Yes Jazz, it’s been confirmed that this is in the same universe as the Arkham series. So this is the same Harley from Asylum, City and Knight. Which probably means you can guess what’s up with Batman

This is how the suicide squad should be, that first movie was so disappointing. With James Gunn heading the sequel, as this game, it definitely looks like the age of the suicide squad.
Also Harleys ourfit. She looked fine in the first one. But in this one? This is an outfit that you know Harley picked out hereself. Also she has a "property of no one" tattoo on her back don't know if you noticed.

As well as the fact that they downplayed Harley and Jokers relationship from being demented and really one-sided on Harleys part to a tragic criminal romance. The Joker terrorized/tortured Harley for years while she was his gf. She thought he loved her back when really her inclusion in his life is one of pure coincidence and necessity for when Joker needed to break out one time and his newest psychiatrist just happened to be someone innocent enough to fall for his charming demeanor, one Harleen Quinzel.

Apparently, this game takes place in the Arkham world series. This is after everyone found out who batman is. I think it's kind of weird that this game is part of this world, but not Gotham Knights. Still excited for both though.

Paladin Headquarters Agreed. Completely changing the race of an established, well-known character seems like a really odd decision. If they wanted to incorporate a colored person in the squad, they could’ve added a villain that’s actually black like Bronze Tiger, but I guess they really wanted to have a shooter in the squad as well.

Just fyi: the original Harley was Batman Animates Series back in the 1990s where it was Kevin Conroy that brought Batman to life; Mark Hamill was the best Joker ever-and their real life friend, Arleen Sorkin gave birth to Harley's character and personality. Arleen did the voice in the first two Arkham games then retired, that's when Tara Strong took over for the voices. Margot Robbie is first ever live action version of Harley :)
Arkham Asylum was the only Batman Arkham game that Arleen Sorkin voiced Harley in. After that she voiced Harley in DC Universe Online and then she retired.
