If Madara and Palpatine were swapped narratively, who would benefit the most? Madara was capable of manipulating some villages, but could he manipulate an entire *galaxy* like Palpatine could? And could Palpatine achieve some form of perpetual world domination/"peace" like Madara wanted?
Could Madara even invoke the eternal mangekyo sharingan when A. He could likely only affect planets at a time and B. He'd be the ONLY person in that galaxy with chakra?

Sam stated that Starkiller is/was no match for Vader. Luke and Vader were both conflicted in that fight until Luke got mad going all out while Vader didn't. Even Vader in the Kenobi show wasn't even in his prime yet and was conflicted by what Sidious and Hayden said.
Dont particularly care for out of lore/game statements. Especially when completely contradicted by evidence. Stan Lee also said Galactus was strongest in marvel😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@DrGoons He also said it's up to the writer who wins. Vader always almost loses or loses due to toying and being conflicted though. Statements have to mean something though it's not always about power levels but mental health and what the creators intended. Statements can also give context to why or what happens to a character but I will say this the creators can change and backtrack or ignore what they said in the past but what if it's consistent to the character and what the creators says? I could create the most powerful character in a universe but another writer could make him weaker than he actually is though although my intent was to make him really powerful. It's up to consistency with statements though. Is Vader's character consistent with being conflicted yes is his character consistent with toying and not taking a fight serious yes. So the statements work.

I'm not trying to argue but it seems like everyone down plays Vader whenever he loses or struggles without look at everything else/state of mind. Vaders confliction is much more focused on in the original movies and to some extent prequels that's why it's being said more hell even Luke states it.

It's true that we never see the jedi try animal friend ship on him in the show, but the fact they didn't try is very telling. Edo’s can’t be killed. They have to be sealed, hit with an attack that destroys the soul (pains human path that can literally rip souls out) or have the caster release the jutsu. It’s not a stylistic struggle it’s 3 dog walkings in a row
When Vader realizes edos are immortal that still doesn't give them any way to get through vader's defenses. I imagine he would just hold them still and take them in to be studied

I could see Madara absorbing force energy in people, similar to him absorbing sage mode from the first hokage. That or just using a soul dragon, and getting stronger with that. No idea if the Star Wars legends characters have soul protection, it’s rare just to be a force ghost.

Do you watch AOT? I think the power scaling for that verse is very interesting because there are a lot of ways to interpret characters and their feats.

I was once told by someone that Vader would be able to react to ftl and massive ftl combatants because he could do stuff in hyperspace
The problem is that Vader himself isn’t moving or reacting that fast, he’s within a ship that’s moving that fast while Vader himself retains his own stats so he doesn’t actually gain anything that enhances him to the required level that Madara would go on to contend with.
Madara on the other hand has a greater arsenal, he’s got regenerative strong enough to heal lethal injuries such as Night Guy which locks you in place, warps space time and is pretty much a guaranteed kill. Madara can also fly freely so he’d be able to do a variety of things. So6p madara was so strong they had to come in with an insta kill technique to get rid of him, so bare minimum against that madara, you’d need something that is 100% death regardless of abilities since Madara can still just look at someone’s eyes and ko them, brain wash etc, but if that’s not enough he’s also got limbo clones which exist on a different plane of reality/existence which all have Madara stats, can’t be interacted with and there’s four of them.
With rinnegan, madara also more or less has the force and can do just about the same plus he’s got a variety of haxs.
The idea of swapping characters isn’t to nerf them or the versus they go into and to let them contend with the full brunt of what they’re going into and what they’re dealing with. As for the tailed beasts, they’re not animals so the beast taming force abilities likely wouldn’t work on them since they’re purely chakra albeit with a physical form
Plasma bolts in the EU are lightbased particles beams and force users are trained to react to these shots as toddlers. Even if you ignore this feat we know from watching the movies and cartoons that force users can sense and view people across the entire galaxy. Vader and Palpatine have forced choked people on other sides of the galaxy on numerous occasions.

You're giving madara a little too much credit. He isn't as impressive as many people think. He would've lost to Naruto and Sasuke even if Black Zetsu didn't interfere. Oneshotting 100% of his body is not the only way to get rid of him either as proven with the stronger Kaguya

Lets not forget that Vadar throughout the original trilogy was well past his prime in terms of finesse and power. I don't know if Return of the Jedi Luke could necessarily overwhelm peak Vadar the same way.

8 gates Guy or even 7 gates Guy would be able to escape the force choke through sheer will. 3rd raikage would smack Vader in my opinion. That saber isn't doing much against the lightning aura or his speed. The force is strong but the will power of the shinobi is being HIGHLY underestimated here.
