- Some of you are no strangers to Riley Stair’s insane Trans-Am, that all of us chose as our favorite build in all of SEMA 2018. But that was two years ago, and a builder on Riley’s caliber doesn’t just rest on the laurels of winning Hoonigan’s yearly one hour special. This thing has continued to evolve and get driven properly.

I loved the 8-to-1 headers but you can't ignore 90hp from a tuned exhaust system
Power... or sound... power or sound... why not both? I love this sound, not quite 8-to-1 but its certainly its own, equivalent, different charm :)
Not just added horsepower but shaved weight which is kind of adding more power on top of the actual gain by being lighter. Promod guys are over the moon ecstatic if they can just shave ounces much less pounds and gain an insane amount of horse's.
@@cjcoleman7372 Of course, the most important aspect of going fast is the power to weight ratio. That's the whole reason my little 650cc bike goes 0-60 in 3.2 seconds completly stock.
Growing up, our neighbor had a ~1000hp car like that (I forget what exactly) that he built for drag racing. Once a month or so he would take the car out in his driveway to tune it and such... It was sooooo loud you could not have a conversation while inside. But it sounded just like this trans am. Love it.

Being a Brit there are too many US cars that float my boat but I’ve always loved the look of these things. Adding the race car look makes it just perfect to my eyes. Kudos to the guy for such a great build.
I showed my dad the first video of this and he immediately thought the exhaust was all wrong. Went on a long speech about tuned length headers and the old Vanwall formula one cars. I’m kinda scared to show him this one cuz he’d be proven right.

That was the one thing that stood out on the Build Bio, that and the hose routing.
Both those things cleaned up, it's nearly perfect, I'm sure.

Another great video. A suggestion, when the guest points to a part of the vehicle you should focus with the camera there.
Exactly, many youtubers do this. Focus on the car not the person. We can listen we don't need to see their faces.

Riley is a very humble kid. It's awesome to see the young generation loving what they do. And props to his parents for supporting his dreams instead of trying to tell him what to do.

This is hands down my most favorite car you have shot that I've seen so far. Not saying that the others wasn't cool or worthy but this 1.. OMG 😲! An insane car shot by a VERY talented photographer... how can you possibly go wrong?

For some reason it had never occurred to me that a Trans-Am could be so low. It's like a whole new car at that ride height. Looks incredible.
This car is fuckin insane, I think you guys featured it once already, but it's not like I'm gonna complain. It has everything, a great frame, an insane drive train, perfect exhaust notes and amazing looks. The look in particular is something I wanted to see for a loooong time on one of these, the roots of the kaido Racer aesthetic, with front lip, ducktail, fender flares, deep small wheels and laid the fuck out. There are tons of F bodies lowered with large rims or with the old school stink bug stance on 5 spokes, but none done this way, and it looks fuckin perfect ☠️🖤☠️
With a sequential this would be the perfect car. Absolutely perfect.
