Fantastic guide, love these edited version.
Thanks
I am glad you liked it!
Great guide mate
I really appreciate your support and encouragement. Means a lot to me!
Awesome ! I like Lion, this clan is on S tier by now, but i never could play a rush game with Lion. I was thinking this impossible, but with this guide; now i can! Thank you very much!
By the way, i'm now kinda playing a game mixing your 2 ways from this guide, being ready to defend from a rush, but keeping focus on scale!
I am so glad I was able to help out!
Yeah Lion-rushes are not even that bad tbh ☺️
Very helpful! Waiting for more guides.
And more will come!
Top Guides! Top Informativ und leicht zu merken. Weiter so, viel Erfolg! :)
Vielen Dank für das nette feedback!
This was a fantastic guide. One of the most helpful ones I have seen! Thank you very much
I took a different approach this time. I am really glad you liked the guide!
I think you're doing the lion's share of making this clan playable. Greetings from one of your friends.
Oh wow, you're here as well?! :O
Appreciate your support ma man ♥
Thanks for the guide!
I am happy to have you, Blonsky!
Finally, Ultimate guide. Tysm!
Ultimate community, too!
thanks for this awesome guide, keep it up :)
Thanks a lot, I'll try to :)
Thanks for this. I have been struggling with Lion!
I gotcha!
Yeah, buddy! This guide is the reason I will start playing kingdoms. The guide is very cool) Thank you
Much love man
Amazing guide! Can you do a guide for stout aswell or do u think its too similar?
Thanks a lot!
I already made one, you can check it out here: czcams.com/video/d4KSrRuugjU/video.htmlsi=nLIeFuNSYgxYsDzY
The build order is quite different to Lion.
Nice, thank you very much !!!
Yes!!! Thank you!!
No problem! 💪
thanks for the guide lars, you are the ng GOAT haha, question for you:
How do you go about mining your stone, if your stone and food are on the same tile, i trialled this and it delayed my stone very late due to starving?
Save food in summer and mine the stone in winter.
If you have fish, try to find another food source.
great guide, do you plan revisiting other clans after those latest patches? :)
most important tip is to use INFO on the tiles, especially for beginners to see exactly how's livability going on,
southern clans really depend on starting tile layout, if really good then upgraded tavern on main tile boosting livability on all other tiles is OP,
also in your play I'd probably build woodcutter on right bottom tile for quicker unit swap between mine and wood,
and also there's a thin balance between getting iron vs getting stone (because upgrading everything for more livability gives bigger convert pop later)
Thanks a lot!
I like your ideas and I see that you put a lot of thought into this.
I actually tried woodcutter near stone mine the first run I played this spawn and I ultimately valued mining while working woodcutters over placing both in the same tile and changed my building distribution.
However, you can definitely make a case for your approach!
Tavern on main is a possibility, but I feel like that is not needed most of the time.
Again, that's only my personal opinion and I know some good Lion players who do exactly that. Hostelry on main. :)
Lion's so flexible man, I wonder how we can optimize this clan even more.
@@larsmanlive forging upgrades/relics is somewhat weird - not being able to stack multiple upgrades on single unit type is a bummer :D
Great guide and can you do a guide in the same style but with the eagle clan
Cheer from Canada
Thanks a lot!
Owl into Snake next. I am open for suggestions afterwards!
I can see myself making an Eagle Guide in the future!
Really nice guide and video Lars! I'm happy that the world will now know how to Lion. But I'm sad that now I have to play against good Lions every time 😅
Thanks man!
When in doubt, just hit 'em with the good ol' 801 Wolf :D
Question regarding Lion kingdom and military path - Legion. How does the third tier talent (double bonus from upgraded military buildings) interact with Lion? As far as i am aware upgrading military camp does not provide any bonuses, unlike in north clans where they provide flat % bonuses, it just allows you to recruit certain type of unit and expand your band?
As far as I know, the champions gain attack speed. Afterwards, that bonus increases after hitting 1500 military expierence by 100%
You can imagine what happens then x)
What type of soldiers are the best for 1v1, 2v2, and 4v4? And what upgrades should they have? ( for lion, ofcourse)
You can never go wrong with Champions IMO.
Maybe some archers for 1v1? But even then, I'd go for champions personally.
good guide
Thanks a lot!
Is codex no longer a viable relic? I always see 3v3, 4v4 with lion split. The one with codex seems to always win eventually due to how fast they can recover vs the holy fire relic.
Codex build is fine, but how is codex ever meant to win against holy fire? In my 80~ Lion games I've never seen Codex win against Holy Fire even once. Only Codex vs. non-relic Lion.
If you're just getting wiped clean there's nothing to recover from. Could you elaborate?
Quick question, in this game you had a ruin to discover which gets you 100 gold. If you never got this which is possible for some spawns, how would you do it?
The build is not dependent on the 100 gold.
Up your food tile as soon as you can. If that is 1 month later that's fine as well.
Imagine playing with the worst kingdom 😢😮 (comment sponsored by the Stout Clan)
Ouch...
Lion > Stoat. However, Stoat's just way too much fun.
The only thing i don’t get is why put a tavern with ur food tile, for me it makes it harder to manage food and happiness at the same time. Other tile feel better for a tavern because i never use 8 lumber jack or 8 sailors. Could you explain to me why you think the tavern on food is better. Thanks for the great guide apart from this confusion everything was crystal clear
Tavern on food is the easiest way for you to get 8 livabilty there ASAP. Also, you won't lack food even with a taverner working there.
Since there will be taverns on other tiles later, you can just work your taverners there.
@@larsmanlive Thanks a lot for the answer, i have been playing lion a lot more and you're 100% right rushing livability without an early tavern is too much of a headache
How should an eagle play against a lion? Just early asap constant pressure like with other eco clans?
In duel?
Eagle will have to go for 801 pressure for sure!
At last my boy!!!
🥰😍
😘
im playing northgard since 2.000 hours (100% of the time only ranked) and i´ve never understand Kingdom clans and squirrel. This 3 clans are really hard to play for me.
Strongest military units are shamans from Rat in 803 with 10 upgraded warcamps :D in my opinion.
Kingdom clans are really different and weird that way.
I guess practise makes perfect. I had to play a LOT of Lion in order to figure it out. In comparison, the viking clans have been way easier (with the exception of owl).
P.S. How the fk does squirrel even work?!
Is it not better to build smithies faster cuz of 15% bonus?
Depends, not that high on the priority list. If iron is not on your food tile, you can try to mine it faster.
It's more important to get your tile set-up asap.
You can build a smithy on your faith tile really quickly by just sailing.
@@larsmanlive by tile setup the most important is food and faith right?
@@xmorpheusx498 Yes!
@@larsmanlive there is point in upgrading another tile? Sometimes I upgrade tile with relic to speedup by 1 more monk
@@xmorpheusx498 Yes definitely.
I'd try to go for as many 8 livabilty tiles as I can.
Getting the tile where you want to forge your relic up to 8 livabilty is huge and it'll save you lots of time.
great guide ! always saw lion as a super late game clan, no idea it could rush. seems super tricky to master but interesting for sure, thanks so much
Thanks alot!
Yeah nobody will expect the rush Lion. I have 100% WR with 801 Lion so far. Maybe more players can pick that build order up to make things more interesting :)
It IS tricky though, I agree!
Im here first
!
Feed the algorithm! Lars for Jarl of Northgard!
Hahaha thank you so much Winklebott!
Roar
sigma drops guide what a hokus pokus 😎🤙
The LEGEND
since everyone knows how to lion now, nerf inc!
Honestly, I wouldn't mind a nerf. If you follow this and figure out the clan there's not that much you can do as an enemy o.O
