  • Hey all - we are excited to share with you the equipment we used to get started in our pressure washing journey. We are going into our second full year and this equipment is still being used daily.
    There is no need for fancy equipment. At the time, we purchased all of this for under $1,500 (and it generated over 10x the revenue in the first year).
    This set up allows you to do flatwork and house washing.
    Below is each piece of equipment linked for convenience:
    Pressure Washer: www.harborfreight.com/4400-ps...
    Surface Cleaner: spraywell.com/general-pump-dc...
    Ball Valve: www.amazon.com/dp/B07S21H1KB/...
    Extra Pressure Hose: www.amazon.com/dp/B09NBMXSJR/...
    Shorter Wand (optional): www.amazon.com/dp/B08QHV6FBZ/...
    Downstream Injector (make sure to choose 3-5GPM): pressuretek.com/gp-high-draw-...
    That should be it! If you have any questions, let us know and we would be happy to help!

    Do you have a video or can you explain how you have the downstream injector and ball valve linked into the system? (Like pump->ball balve->downstream->pressure hose?)

      Especially with a mobile washer, we plug the injector direct into the pump outlet, then hose, then ball valve. We’ll do a down streaming essential video this spring

    Does the hose for that machine have to be 3/8" and is 100' going to be ok? Thanks guys.

      The pressure hose has to be 3/8” with the same 3/8 QC fittings. We’ve run 100’ of pressure hose on it with no issues. You do see a slight pressure drop though going from 50ft to 100ft.

    Can you expound a bit more on the tips you suggested picking up for the surface cleaner? Which tips again? Thanks!

      Yes sir! Anything 4GPM and under is generally good for running direct.

      @pressurewashnerds  Před 5 měsíci

      Hey Alexis! Absolutely we recommend it. We are going into our 3rd year and will still use this machine on certain jobs, despite having 3 other machines.

    What oil did y’all use for pump??

    • @pressurewashnerds
      @pressurewashnerds  Před rokem +1

      Non-Detergent pump oil, typically 10W-30. We use General Pump brand from PressureTek just because it's the cheapest. Actually changing the oil out on all the machines today so this comment was perfect timing.

    Can this machine draw water from a ibc r buffer tank

    • @pressurewashnerds
      @pressurewashnerds  Před 5 měsíci +1

      It’s direct so in general I’d say no. But if you mount the washer low and use the water height to your advantage, then yes.

    I recently bought this unit and the hose it comes with is awful. I’m having a hard time finding single wire hose that’s rated for more than 4000psi. Have you guys found 4000psi hose works fine?

    • @pressurewashnerds
      @pressurewashnerds  Před rokem +1

      Yep! We run Suttner hose 4000psi from PressureTek. It’s much much better.
