- Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History's Hall of Geology, Gems & minerals, located at the Washington, DC National Mall. The Janet Annenberg Hooker Hall of Geology, Gems, and Minerals features a 20,000 square foot gallery of rocks, minerals, crafted jewelry, and objects of wonder. I did not make enough time to view the entire display, but what I did see was incredible and I highly recommend seeing it in person.

Gorgeous collection ❤😮😮😮😮
If anybody had any interest in taking a closer look at these miraculous features then may I recommend playing the video in a slower time. It gives a smoother more through opportunity to absorb it all in.

@@jamesgoldring1052 You clearly have a god complex if you think you made your children like something on a assembly line.

Thank you for this amazing video
Thanks for watching, glad you liked it!
Thank you for interesting video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I went to this exhibit today and it was totally mind-blowing.
I hope to go again one day, I didn't even get to see the full thing lol, I lingered too long and they closed at 4:00
Brilliant :D I guess the Smithsonian has to be on my things to do list even though I'm on the other side of the world lol I've heard about it many times before but watching videos like this really brings it home how incredible their collection is.
I had gone down from Toronto to check out Washington, the nice thing is I think all the Smithsonian areas we went to in the area were free. They had a zoo, history museums, and the natural history museum was huge with a dinosaur exhibit, geology rocks, etc. It was a great trip for me. We didn't even make it to the end of the geology tour before it closed.
@@PointofParallax Yes there's always way too much to see. Yesterday I went to a gem and mineral show and just saw a fraction of the booths. I live in the Netherlands where we have the Rijksmuseum with among other things the great Dutch masters, you would be able to go for days, it's just too much. And then the things the have in the archives, it's unimaginable but a great day out that's for sure. For things to see and to learn. Nerd power lol
@@stefaniaponitz5738 Netherlands is definitely on my list of places to see one day. Big beautiful world we live in :)
That red fluorite is next level…
did they have a crystals section in the souvenir store?
Sometimes watching CZcams movies on smart tv's is unfair so I turned my tablet on to give you a big like, you really deserved it.
Wow thank you, much appreciated!
