      Ugandans have not developed country. They been corrupt. All they want to do is party, sell goods on the street and ride boarder boarders around town. It is good that our brothers and sisters from Eritrea and Ethiopian are bringing competition.

      Very True most of the Eritreans and Ethiopians have relattives abroad!..who send them money!..so they can pay rent 3 to 6 months upfront!..what i know they bargain alot!..thiz guys can bargain even Bolt taxi😂😂😂

      I think I get the concerns of this guy. But even if that was the case Eritreans and Ethiopians can't be to blame for having a competitive advantage. I'm sure the Ugandans renting these places are very happy and the government of Uganda is not complaining about the benefits, businesses and money that is been made due to migration of people to Uganda.

      Hey brother my be one day we get to meet. I'm Ugandan and leave in Fort Worth. I didn't even know there were Eritreans in Uganda. One of my friends down here in Fort Worth is Eritrean. Your all are very good people. It's ok if Eritrean are creating competition in Uganda. The Ugandan have failed to develop the country. In the 1960s and 1970s Kampala Used to look even better than Nairobi. But now it is full of dust and old buildings. So if you guys are going bring businesses and develop the country, I'm for it.

      I'm Ugandan. But Ugandans need to face competition. Because they have not developed country at all. Ugandans we are very corrupt especially the government. Even here in the US there a lot foreign businesses.

      I agree with you 💯. It’s a hard competition for them. As a landlord we prefer someone who pays 6 months rent in advance than someone who pays monthly. We prefer to rent Eritreans than Ugandan because their families send them money from abroad all the time. That kind of thing is a problem for the people of Uganda

      I was in Sudan and the maneged to make rent impossible there.

    The peaceful atmosphere and brotherhood they get in Uganda are the reason they r there.They are not taking any government benefits, school, health care and job.But they invest the little money they get from their families which helps the low income Ugandians also benefit from it .

      Why do you think there's a large/ big number of Athiopians/Eritreans in Uganda?
      Ugandans are so complicated people to understand. Dont just see them quite and you think they are fools.
      Few people know the motive of those people piled in Uganda.

    I recently moved with my Kenyan wife and I was surprised a broker on the phone asked if I am Eritrean because of the area I suppose. I was surprised prices inflate for Eritreans. But then, the Ugandan brothers are right... wherever we go, prices do go up for one thing or the other. Don't believe? Ask Addis LandLords nowadays and they will prefer Eritrean over an Ethiopian.

    What i know in kenya Eritreans and Ethiopians they dont support local businesses!..if they own business they want their own people to buy from their shops!..but in kenya they dont sell tomatoes or Shoes in the streets!..Hawkers in kenya cannot accept such competition!.

    Another truth is Eritreans and Ethiopians love stayin close to each other!..they can take the whole building from first floor to 7th floor…some Estates in kenya the agents or caretakers Dont Rent them Houses coz they can stay upto 10 adults and several children in 2 bedroom apartments..and spoli the house😂😂😂😂…my honest opinon is Home is Best..Eritreans and Ethiopians should try and Build their Own Country!..neither UG or Kenya or South Africa or tanzania is Not their Country🙏

    It's ok if they invest in the country, they probably going to clean the city. Because us Uganda have not cleaned the city since the British left. No new buildings, they're boarders everywhere and Kampala is the dirtiest and old looking city in East Africa. Ugandans we are not displined. We throw trush everywhere and corruption is all over the place. If the Eritrean, Somalian and Ethiopian are going to make Kampala look good , I'm ok with it. That will teach us a lesson.

    Eriteans and Ethiopians have alot of freedom in Uganda!..they even own land!.. my advice to Ugandans,,please dont sell your land!..your future generation will be squarters..in kenya land is so precious!..kenyans lease the land to Foreigners for a period of 10 yrs or 20yrs..they dont sell!..if the lease agreement is over you vacate the land!..a can a Ugandan Buy a land in Ethiopia or Eritrea?..stay there peacefully?the same way they live and stay in Uganda?..am just curious?..South Africans dont want Ethiopians and Eritreans at all,,because of the same reasons this guy talked about!..they are love buying from their own..Employ their own people…in a another country,,😂😂😂
