I already feel more calm and in control, and free to do things without the weight of a dirty house constantly on my mind. Thank you Flylady! Awesome advice throughout the entire video thanks a bunch fly lady… The advice you have given on writing a book with especially helpful… as well as your detailed dusting advice… I love my feather dusters and I feel just as passionate about them as you do… They are part of my home decor.
Saw a beautiful Easter/Resurrection Day drama last night. It was titled ENOUGH! A great reminder that Jesus is enough no matter what the world might try to make us believe. It's not our pasts, status, stuff, money, looks... Was as true then as now. Whether you are a Christian or not, it's good to keep in mind that clutter comes in many forms...and can be destructive.
I use norwex envirocloth, window cloth and hand duster. I also have their mop system. It’s great. Dust and dirt is trapped in the microfibre and dust doesn’t go flying around. By using microfibre and not chemical cleaners the dirt doesn’t get attracted and there is less dirt every time you clean. I noticed this in the lounge room this week.
I am currently on the baby steps. Part of the morning routine includes 15 minutes of decluttering. I don't have a lot of clutter. When I get to the end of my clutter and don't have anything else to get rid of, what do I do with that 15 minutes?

I hate to carry it around my neck because it moves too much. Buy a Bluetooth speaker that you can attach to your person. A small one from a Best Buy that has a hook. Or wear one wireless headphone. Carry the phone in your pocket or in your bra so you don’t lose signal as you walk around your property. I listen to her and Dr. Laura this way. Do the baby steps. Nice job of explaining how not to cram FLYLady or any other system down someone's throat. Also to not be a martyr. That's a very good point. My husband helps and some husbands will. But not all will. My father didn't. It's okay to ask for help, but be wise. Know your spouse. Be reasonable. Set a good example. That's all we can do!
Hey LIsa, You are right when using any other feather duster except an Ostrich feather duster. Watch the video until The FlyLady takes the feather duster outside and shakes it to bless the world with all the dust it gathered.
They really work. But good black male feather ones like she sells are at least $40 USD. Worth it. Lasts for years. You don’t have to move nick backs it’s so delicate.
I have really hard water (iron) living in NH. we just bought this 1970 house from a lady that has passed away and the bathtub has a lot of iron stain on it. I tried to scrub and use anything I could find in the store but it just wont get clean. I have these orange stains all over the bathtub and its gross. Anybody have any suggestions?????
I can“t understand that you talk with so much love about the birds in the trees and then... selling something that is made wirh terrible cruelity against birds 😢 There are so many other options !!

feather dusters are a waste, they dust move the dust to another area! swiffer , the dust actually sticks.

Christina Did you try a pumice stone on the tub? Or Barkeepers Friend cleanser in the can?
mr clean sponge wont do anything tried it. it is way worse for that Never tried bar keepers friend I will try that thank you :)
