- Part 19 - The wait is over, finally I've made it back to Burghfield. Minus a few hairs on my head though.
Having missed the spring due to the lockdown, I've got some making up to do this summer and I'm going hard!!

Gregs rant about coronavirus and having to go to work on a building site is hilarious and so true can’t go fishing in isolated venues but you can go to rammed building sites and pay your taxes like a good boy. Well done Greg brilliant angling mate 👍

How come bait boats are banned m8 ??
When the weed gets up m8 they ban the bait boats because you can't get the carp back m8 that's what I was told
Was loving it until he said "was putting it out with the bait boat" all over for me. Its called Rod and line for a reason not boat with GPS and line ffs.
@Rob Collier 55 I actually do! Boats for the disabled angler are an invaluable asset, however they are open to misuse I think you would agree? Also I believe it is inhibiting people from learning skills that give you so much more out of the experience, using a throwing stick, spodding, marker float, dragging the lake with a lead to feel the bottom and finally the cast itself allowing for wind, depth in relation to the marker and feathering it down amongst many other things are lost with a boat. In this time of instant gratification how many are going to bother to learn the skills? And therefore over time they will be lost.
