- Saturday marks the 17th anniversary of John F. Kennedy, Jr.'s passing and a new documentary will shed light on the heir to Camelot the public did not see. The trailer for the upcoming Spike TV documentary, "I Am JFK Jr.", features his tight circle of close friends who knew all his secrets. It shows a confrontation between Kennedy and his wife Carolyn Bessette in a New York City park. #InsideEdition
I met him on West Broadway across from The Odeon. He walked out and jumped on his bike. I said, “Hi, John!” He smiled, looked straight in my face, and said “Hi!” back just as naturally as if we were old neighbors...open heart, completely humble. Memorable.

He did not exist and was never born because Carolyn whom JFK, Jr, married in 1996 refused to bear and have children with him. JFK, Jr. should stop having a penchant fort blondes, he should marry a brunette, not a blonde. Carolyn is not fit to be First Lady because she wear thongs and sports bras and her wedding gown she wore in 1996 was too feminine and too sexy and not compatible to Jackie's wedding gown in 1953.

She's not the kind of woman that we would want as First Lady because of that kind of image that she has and her personal character.
When we lost John, we lost an integral part of our nation's fabric. This still shot of him listening to someone is one window. I heard it said many times and I see it in shots like this one. John really listened to what people said to him. I heard it said that he made one feel as though they were the only one in the room. That is special, unique. Sad that he was taken so soon.
He learned to listen like that from his mother. It was often said that when she was listening to you, it was as if you were the only one in the room.

I personally knew 2 flight instructors and an F/A-18 pilot who perished. They were very experienced and talented pilots.
I was a teen when Kennedy was killed. I remember the day John John was born and watched live his saluting when his father’s casket passed by. I fell in love with the name John dining those days and named my son after both father and son.

It was a tragic accident. JFK Jr. was ultimately responsible as he chose to fly the plane without a flying instructor present even though one had offered to fly with him that evening. However, he would not have been flying so late if Carolyn hadn't taken so long trying to get the exact shade of lavender nail polish at her pedicure. They were expected to leave around 6.30pm but instead left after 8.30pm and flying in the dark and not being able to tell the difference between up or down was believed to have been the cause of the accident. Also, Carolyn's sister was on board and the part she played was persuading Carolyn to fly which she did by flying with her. Carolyn originally did not want to go to the wedding and was having marriage difficulties. Her sister was trying to help them by encouraging them to spend that time together. All of them played some part in being on that plane that day but ultimately, it was a tragedy that none of them foresaw. May they all rest in peace.

I saw on another video, John JR was also late getting to the plane, He had some last minute editing at his magizine, his wife came 20 mins. after he arrived. The video I saw was Getting the Record Straight..it takes you into the cockpit and you see what John Jr saw during his fateful trip.

As I understand it, the crash was caused by a phenomenon that fighter pilots used to get where the ocean merges with the sky and you lose your sense of up and down..one ex ww2 pilot said he put his talisman cross, which was something you would wear around your neck, and he would dangle it from the rear view mirror which was a perfect guide as to if you were upside or down..in addition to your instrument readings

Jay Man I watched the coverage that said he flew a plane he wasn’t familiar with and blamed the crash on him. It was later found out her had a broken foot and a flight instructor who they waited 2 hours for at the airport. They were going to leave but the instructor finally shows up. They never find his body so they tried to say he wasn’t on the flight but his (instructors family) confirmed he was on the plane. They never did find the black box

What a gorgeous looking man! And he came off as a very nice guy! I saw a clip of him where he was berating some paparazzi, or some guy off camera, the guy had said something insulting to a woman and a jack Jr was so angry and told him you never talk to a woman like that. It was impressive to see how he came to rescue of that woman's honor!

I remember waking up to the news station being on, on a beautiful sunny morning in mid-summer, my sons 2nd birthday a day away; the only thing they were talking about was how JFK jr's plane disappeared and they were looking for it. The late 90's were terrible times... the riots and social injustices, Princess Diana death, Columbine and then JFK jr.. 9/11 was right around the corner. One punch after another in those days... but I think everything has only become worse. I don't know why young people think they're going to change anything... all new graduates and youngsters believe they're gonna change things but that's just their youth talking.. they've got no clue what they're up against and it will wear you down and you will comply and you will conform and you will sell out. If you really look at the last century, the only thing being developed was technology.. and technology that enslaved people.
Think about it all those tragedies happening all around the same time. The Clinton’s and the Bush family will be exposed for their wrong doings going back for years.
The 90s saw real tragedies, as you've rightly said. But there was a hopefulness in the air, immediately post-Fall of Communism. However, look what's happened since then... As for today, I agree with you completely. I do not recognize the country I grew up in, nor England, nor much of the world for that matter. As for new graduates, they cannot even afford to rent a home, let alone buy. Very depressing.
