I was there! I was 14, and it was my first concert. It was on October 30, 1983, and Fastway opened up.
I meant October 31.
Me and my ex got lost leaving the building, and ended up at their tour bus. We were about to leave after a smoke, and they came out of the building and signed my t-shirt. Ahhhh....good memories. I gave them a pentacle necklace I had in exchange for their autographs. 😁

Brian's voice was shot but my God he is a professional and knew how to deliver certain lines in a different and tasteful manner. Changing a couple words to make it easier for him to sing them, yet not making it too obvious. He tried his best on the pitch but he either hit the best phrases right on or delivered it in a different way. Legend
And to think this was only his first year with the band. Surprised his voice wasn't completely gone by like 1990. The man's endured. Legend.

@@jjrj8568 I think Brian took to long to adjust his voice to his age. He wanted to keep the tone and very high notes from 1980s Back In Black era. Unfortunetly 80s album realises were ruined by bad production.

Brian's high range was not exactly in it's best shape on this tour, but he sounds a helluva lot better on Rock In Rio 1985. Every singer has ups and downs during their career and I'm sure his smoking habit didn't exatcly help either...

AC/DC doesn’t use Autotune, it’s just Brian worked his voice way too hard in the 80s and had to learn a new singing technique for the 90s because he lost it temporarily

Brian Johnson may not sound very good here, but this is still a good version of "Hells Bells" and Brian is still a great vocalist.

I was at this show and I can tell you the vocals sounded WAY better than this. My guess is that we are hearing the raw feed at the mixing board but over the PA it was great!

I attended many concerts there..
It's now Lakewood Church ..lot's of weed was smoked in that church..

dreadful performance by Brian here, some people don't want to admit it, but he started losing his voice after the 1981 tour, he struggled for the rest of the decade, until he found his current, lower tone for Ballbreaker (95)...
I couldn't agree more ...Im furious when i see comments on videos for example the River Plate that say like "wtf Brian your voice is fucked". What these people don't seem to remember is how bad his vocals were from 82 onwards even into the Razors Edge tour. Your right, Ballbreaker he found a lower tone and if you ask me his vocals right now are as good as they have been for a long time !

It's so weird, why does he struggle so much in 83?
He looks kinda tired, worn out and out of breath the same happened in the early 2000's it's kinda weird for me cuz he was doing great in 84 onwards but in 83 he was kinda off and I don't know why to this day
I have heard FOTS bootlegs that portrayed Brian with an epic voice, In my opinion I think the producer removed the background noise and most of the audience noise so the rest of the band could be heard, but at the expense of Brian's loudness, either it was the producer or Brian had a bad day its anyones guess, anyway I wonder if a complete version of this gig exists.

This was the first AC/DC song I ever heard live, the opening song for the For Those About to Rock We Salute You Tour. Live it was awesome, and Brian was not drunk at the Dallas show.

ín the eighties Brian was horrible live, so was the guitar tuning...saw them 16 times in total, real improvment was with the stiff upper lip tour and after brians surgery

This is embarrassing to watch, i can't believe they released this. Yeah Brian sounds like shit, but so do the rest of the band, it's muddy sounding and sloppy. They sounded 100x better on their 2016 tour with Axl Rose. Let's face it, Brian hasn't sounded good since 1981, on every tour since then he sings too fast, mumbles words etc. Axl nailed it, and is waaay better at singing the Bon Scott songs. Hopefully they pro recorded one of the Axl shows for a bluray release, it was their best sounding tour since 1979.

those kind of songs and vocal style are so hard to keep,axl had some troubles too at his party days but both managed to sound great, i mean the acdc live at donignton is amazing, but yeah...the last years brian couldnt reach the songs anymore and axl gave back a lot of energy to acdc(and the oportunity to bring back the standard guitar tunning because he can still reach the original high notes), i hope they pro recorded some axl shows too
