I needed one but they seem so pricey so I blue Peter’d it 😆

It's always a great day when you know there's some good modelling parts coming in the post and there's a video from yourself to watch while I wait 😊

Excellent stuff, it’s a little different to my usual but hopefully still entertaining 👍 hope you don’t have to wait too long for the post

Wow! Your work should feature in ‘Model Rail’ magazine, including the spray booth construction.
I do have buses, but as I am determined to break as many model railway conventions as possible, none will be placed on an overbridge.

But how will we know it’s a model railway if the bus isn’t on the bridge 😆
Thanks for your kind words I’m hoping something else I’ve been working on will appear in a magazine in the future, but we’ll have to wait and see on that.

good video on your weathering technique, on my 66 i swapped out the generic speaker to a Iphone 7 speaker. these are quite good to be fair and have used them a few times for a couple of class 37's with the hornby tts decoders.

I’ve heard there quite good for locos I may have to try that 👍

That's looking really good perhaps slightly to much for my own personal liking.
Am I right in thinking that the exhaust on the roof is made of Aluminium, so wouldn't rust.

Thanks, it does feel that way but that’s why I liked the video I found of it as it meant I could go to town on the model and still keep it prototypical. I’m not sure what the exhaust is made of to be honest I’ve just used photos as the basis for the weathering and assumed it’s rust, it could just be the soot deposits from the exhaust

Great work! Are you still keeping the rest of your stock? You might be able to get away with running stuff that’s past the 1980’s with your era.

Thanks, I’m keeping a few bits mostly western region NSE stock (I’ll run them on the preserved line where I can). But as I’m looking to do a layout set in Yorkshire the souther region EMUs had to go.
