That's exactly right. It's a data warehousing product. You can use it for a variety of use cases, but a lot of them are the dystopian stuff the CCP gets into.

One hears the term "Our Customers" over and over again regarding many of these niche businesses, but the single biggest "Customer" any business should be primarily concerned about (greater society) is usually of minimal priority because there's little immediate profit to be gained.
This guy is a walking example of this incredible disconnection. He talks about war and economic upheaval like they're details instead of lots of people really suffering and dying.
