Kuwait Fire: At Least 40 'Migrant Workers' Killed in Horrific Apartment Blaze

At least 41 people have been killed by a large fire which swept through a building in Kuwait that housed foreign workers.
Videos on social media showed flames engulfing the lower parts of the building, with thick black smoke billowing from the upper stories.
Kuwait’s Deputy Prime Minister accused property owners of greed and said violations of building standards had led to the tragedy.

This is a basic mistake that was made in construction..... no "fire stair" (compulsory according to building laws in India) ..then ... fire protection equiments absent..... ithokke compulsory aanu.... illenkil Fire NOC kittilla. which is required for multistoried buildings..i.e more than three floors and other rules for buildings with large coverage.

Mostly in these apartments many cook their own meals , this is one of the reason the fire can catch and spread to other areas . Anyway sad news . Many condolences to the families.

The Kuwait Govt had no check on the building by the Govt? Why was so many Gas cylinders in the building? Kuwait Govt Escaping blaming the company owner.
