How to make Chocolate Pudding (Egg - Free)

You thought pudding always had egg yolks? This recipe can be implemented without so much work and such a few ingredients: milk, sugar, cocoa powder, butter, cornstarch and vanilla extract. You can enjoy it warm right out of the pot and chilled as well.
    Recipe:
    1/3 cup Sugar
    3/4 cup Milk
    4 teaspoon Unsweetened Cocoa powder
    1½ tablespoon Cornstarch
    1 tablespoon salted Butter
    1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
    1/8 teaspoon instant Coffee (optional)
    Stir together sugar, cocoa, cornstarch an coffee. Make sure there are no lumps.
    In a small bowl, combine dry ingredients and milk. Mix well and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture boils. Allow pudding to cook for one more minute after it first begin to boil.
    Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and butter. Serve warm or allow the pudding to cool completely and then chill before serving.
    Microwave Directions:
    Stir together sugar, cocoa, cornstarch an coffee in large microwave safe bowl. Gradually stir in milk.
    Microwave at 100%. Just stir every two minutes until mixture comes to full boil. Stir in vanilla and butter. Put into individual dessert dishes.
    Tips:
    -If you use unsalted butter, add a pinch of salt to the recipe.
    -To avoid a skin from forming on top, press plastic wrap directly onto surface.
    -Sprinkle cocoa powder or grated chocolate over the cooled chocolate pudding before serving.
