These roses are very easy to make, and they’re perfect to decorate cakes, cupcakes and desserts. You will find that don't need to be a pro to make sugar roses.
    Materials:
Gum Paste / Sugar Paste Flowers
    Pink and Green icing colors
    Blossom Cutter
    Fondant Roller
    Ball Tool
    20-gauge wire
2.5" Squares of thin foam (for support)
    Calyx Cutter
    Tylose Edible Glue
    Silicone Pad
    Green Floral Stem Wrap Tape
    Small Scissors
    Paintbrush
    Instructions
Roll a ball and shape it into a cone.
Moisten the wire with Tylose glue and insert into the cone.
Allow the cones to dry and harden before using.
Roll gum paste into 2mm thickness.
Using blossom cutter, cut out as many flower as you can.
Place the flower on a silicone pad. With the ball tool, soften and thin each petal.
Push the wire stem through the center of the flower.
Use a small square of thin foam for support.
Choose one petal as # 1. The petals are numbered clockwise around the flower.
Brush Tylose glue on the cone and the base of petal#1 and wrap around the cone. Continue wrapping with petal #3, #5, #2 and #4 to complete the rosebud.
For a full rose, place a second blossom and wrap petals #1, #3, #2, #4 and #5 around the rosebud.
Repeat until your rose reaches the desired size.
