  • This has made it to my must-have kitchen tools list for food storage in 2023. I love this jar vacuum sealer! It's all in one piece (basically), keeps a charge for many jars, seals perfectly, and is so easy to use. While I love FoodSaver for vacuum sealing bags, this one is going to be my go-to tool for vacuum sealing jars.

    Just got mine today and vac sealed a jar of walnuts. This is really great for sealing. No big apparatus and tubing. Takes only a small space to store. It sealed well. I’m happy with mine.

      I was watching one lady and she said that sealers like this seals but check the jars every few days bc the seals don’t last. That scares me

    How do you get lid off jar. Some are hard to get off?

    Is it ok too vacuum seal tomatoes that you can

      For tomatoes, you would want to waterbath can them or pressure can them, but they wouldn’t be suitable for vacuum sealing. The only exception would be if you dehydrated them all the way and then you could vacuum seal them, but I still would recommend just canning them this way nchfp.uga.edu/how/can3_tomato.html#gsc.tab=0
