I've created a custom object and published the sandbox however the pages are not shown yet. Do I need to add to my user any specific Role?

My understanding after creating the Custom Object then there should be a set of Webservices get created as well so you can call them to insert/update/delete data to this Object. Any idea how to get access to such webservices? Also how to get the table name created for this custom object?
