  • The second visit to the Kaimanawa Wall with the authorisation by D.O.C and local Iwi for a Geotechnical company to scan the area with Ground Penetrating Radar.
    Interesting results revealed.
    The question is, what next?

    DOC: "nothing to see here, this sign we just put up proves it!"

    Definitely something. Obviously out of place with the narrative we are taught. Why dont they want it dug up? Too many people be proven wrong, essays trashed?

    Very interesting. I’m surprised the DOC even allowed the GPR scan to be performed. It would be fascinating to hear what some expert archaeologists make of the scans.

      It took me nearly a year to get permission. Iwi were the stumbling block until I invited them from Turangi to join the exploration. They suddenly gave the green light and did not join the day of scanning.

      Ahh... Cultural sensitivities can make things difficult indeed. However, it sounds like your invitation won them over. I guess they just appreciated the gesture. Inclusion works wonders.

    Fascinating! Wasn't it suitable for LIDAR? Seems like that would be useful given the terrain.

    Its clearly a man made structure of some description. Very interesting.

    Amazing....while looking and studying the wall lots of things runs in your head, then you came to a government signboard that says " IDIOT THAT'S A NATURAL FORMATION "....

    I don't understand the conclusion to the investigation. I never once thought that there was a pyramid or metal hidden but it seems to be a wall....so is it???? If not then an explanation as to why would be good thanks.

      What do you think it is? Many people over the years have questioned whether this is natural or man made. DOn't you think the Government should take so interest and do an archaeological dig?

      @@turehunz342 I think so just to put the question to bed and end all speculation regarding the area.

    Conclusion?

    • @turehunz342
      @turehunz342  Před 5 lety +39

      I am convinced (as are others) of man made structure. One scan (of seven) shows a regular form. Remember there could have been metres of ash covering the area after the 186AD Taupo eruption.

    Interesting and amazing you were allowed in such an ancient and sensitive area. How old do the scientists reckon this wall is? Were you looking for a pyramid and metal? There may well be a pyramid there, just not exactly where you were looking. Cheers and thanks
