    I know that a local dealer of mine is selling 2020 Z-Master 2000 series 60" mowers for $6700 (no MyRide). In my opinion, that's a heck of a machine for the price. The cheapest 60" 3000 series that they offer is $3,000 more than that. Obviously you're getting some beefier parts, but for light-duty commercial, I think that 2000 series is a great option.

    I have had the titan hd 2000 for a year and a half now. ITs a great mower, Im not exactly sold on the myride. Ive adjusted it every way from sunday and cant get it balanced. The rear shocks are great but the front is too weak so it bangs on the bumpers every big bump you hit. Still a great mower. Been a fan of Toro for 20 years.

      @mxmichaelf1 The only con I can come up with is gas usage. I had a 2006 zmaster with 52” deck and 25hp Kawasaki that I bought brand new and of course-with the smaller engine it didn’t burn through gas as bad. That’s all though. I love this thing! It cuts like a beast , doesn’t bog in wet or heavy grass and has more power than u need and the my ride helps a lot!

      @mxmichaelf1 one more thing. Mine came with the electric deck control. It is very cool but anxious to see how long before I have any issues with it. I really didn’t want it but it just came with the one I wanted. I will probably put the foot pedal on a little later on down the road because if something fails on the deck lift motor you cannot operate the deck

    MDP Outdoor Solutions. At this time I have not crossed into the zero turn mower realm.
    I have been looking at some of the various width deck Bad Boy & Toro Timecutters as well as the Toro Titan 60 inch mowers at the TSC Stores here in Kentucky.
    For the amount and types of mowing on my property - I’m not sure that a residential grade mower would give me the most bang for the buck. My property has a variety of mowing scenarios; From golf course quality to steep hilly terrain with a creek, not to forget the tricky road frontage. From what I have seen watching different CZcams videos - I think at least a Titan HD or low end commercial grade.
    From my experience with hilly uneven terrain- I always liked to go “heavier duty” with my mowers to compensate for what I ask them to do.
    I did subscribe to your channel and really liked your presentation. Best Regards From Versailles,Kentucky.

    Is the Titan HD replaced with the Z Master 2000? I am trying to understand model numbers and what’s comparable. The Z Master 2000 appears to have bigger Hydros.

    anyone had any experience with the Toro v twin on the titan running rough? My 2019 has 30 hours and surges, acts like water in gas etc. I've drained tank, drained carb, added non ethanol gas, stabalizer etc to no avail. thanks

    • @DustinSilva
      @DustinSilva Před 4 lety

      Check the spark plugs and look for differences ... Im gonna guess one may be fouled. If you see one that looks greyish white or burnt, it would suggest a partially plugged jet (if carbureted) or if it is super oily/gassy smelling it could be as simple as swapping a plug, or worse maybe a piston ring has worn (if very oily) ... Do you see any colored exhaust fumes? That said, Ive never worked on one of these, only motorcycles, vehicles and marine engines.

    • @DustinSilva
      @DustinSilva Před 4 lety

      Also, probably not your issue, but check and make sure the choke is disengaging... Also, check the air-filter, and if possible (not sure where it is) the fuel filter.

    • @CurtisPittman48
      @CurtisPittman48 Před 4 lety

      Dustin Silva thanks. I have not checked the plugs but did take the carb off. Cleaned the metering valves, jets, body etc. nothing there. Still has a slow surge unless under a load . Only thing I can think of additional would be governor spring placement or governor needs adjusting

      The deck on the Titan HD and Z Masters are basically the same with some minor differences. The Titan deck has a fixed front baffle and is a 7/10 combination of steels. Titan deck also uses aluminum spindles. Other than that they are very much the same.

      @@mdpoutdoorsolutions7175Parkers compare more to zt4400/5400. 3400 may give titan hd that 10 mph but I've seen many go out with under 1k hours.

      John Hill we sell a lot of these and several have that many hours or more with no issues. Proper maintenance is key to any piece of equipment and the Hydro Gears are no different. Follow proper service intervals and you will get long life out of them.
