I have a g16 Rog Strix. It's a new gaming laptop that I have and it seems to experience frequent blue screens and crashes. It appears that this problem is rampant in all ASUS gaming laptops, especially after you do some gaming with it. Also, when you do updates, it is often that this laptop will instantly hard boot itself.
If you are a person who constantly looks at your reliability monitor, this laptop is going to drive you nuts. But if you're someone who doesn't care about all that, then by all means get this machine. Just don't be surprised that you'll occasionally get the blue screen of death.

@@durgaaryal2125 the laptop I have still functions. The problem is the fact that the one I have is the 14th gen intel i9-14900HX and it is unstable AF. I often get a lot of video-related errors when the gpu of the laptop is working fine. The problem is that Intel and Asus can't get their $h!t together and send out a fix to make the motherboard work in harmony with the processor because they're so busy pointing the finger at each other. The only way to curb the blue screening is to manually go into the bios and tweak the settings, which I DON'T RECOMMEND ANY END USER TO DO!
What I also did is that I disabled optimus for the laptop so that it doesn't use intel's integrated graphics and make the processor more unstable than it already is.
My suggestion is to find a good laptop that's using an AMD processor. Avoid any laptops that use an intel 13th or 14th gen processor, because it's only going to give you headaches. If Asus has better laptop that's using an AMD processor, look into that one, it'll run hot yes, but at least it's more stable than intel.
What's your opinion on lenovo legion 7i(2024)?should i consider it.cause i don't have much knowledge about laptop honestly😅
@@durgaaryal2125 the only time I would actually recommend a laptop is when you're frequently moving and still want to kind of game during your travels while at the same time do some productivity.
The reason why I got a laptop over a Steam Deck is because I often do some coding jobs while I'm traveling
I have a g16 and it works just fine. Doesn't crash and I've never got a blue screen. I use it connected to a moniter. I think the problem is just your laptop.
