How to manually run a RV hydraulic slide in and out so you can get back on the road

Tim can’t thank you enough for this video. My son bought an RV and hadn’t been able to open his slides. We tried everything,including new batteries, hydraulic fluid, etc. We couldn’t find anyone who would work on this 1998 Hitchhiker. Swapping the hydraulic hoses for each slide worked! My son doesn’t have to hop over furniture to get to bedroom. Thanks again for sharing

Thank you for this. I had no clue that I needed to switch the lines for manual pump out. Will be doing this in the morning as I am having some electrical problems and need to move the slides manually.

So, no air gets into the lines when you switch the hoses? No need to bleed the lines as one would do with brake lines?
