I'm guessing Ahmet keeps releasing the archives at-a-pace because if Frank's estate doesn't turn a profit, he doesn't have to share any of the money from it with the family. You keep releasing just enough to keep the company in the red. He's even sued his brother Dweezil to forbid him to use his own name "Zappa Plays Zappa." I worked on a project with the Zappa brothers (when they were talking to each other). I liked Dweezil.
@@miiiiiikey Perhaps things have changed in 2022. The rest of it - as far as I know - according to interviews with Dweezil - is true. And... I did work with the brothers on an HBO project. And Dweezil was a likeable guy.

So many untruths in this statement. Plus, the Zappa Estate was acquired by Universal Music in 2022, and Dweezil was well taken care of.
