- Hello everyone, I hope you guys are having a good day! Let's chill and vibe for this video and paint some vintage hair. Page Boys and Victory Rolls are so beautiful, and I wanted to draw and paint them with watercolors. Just wanted to try a new medium, so I hope you enjoy the process!

@@HeXtian I didn’t see anyone suggest this so I just thought you’d like to know that you might actually really like using the polychromos pencils for your initial sketch! They’re oil based so they don’t really smudge that much when you’re painting :)
Maybe we'll see Starlight Glimmer on 2021, that way you might have more time to finish the rest of the Bratz. We just need to find the perfect outfits that Starlight's, something that represents mage sorcery & what style? like Rainbow dash or twilight sparkle. Her outfit from Equestria Girls was a big no, big do over on everything.

Sailor Mars was always my fave, i LOVED everything about her design in this. Sailor Venus looks amazing too, I just have a soft spot for Rei.

I had painting classes at uni and I chose watercolours because I thought it would be cool and easy. It was cool but definitely not easy! Your painting made me want to try watercolours again 😁 The hair turned our super pretty, especially on Mars! ❤

A tip for making clouds look like clouds may be, that the darker tones are usually at the bottom of a cloud while you put the color at the top and faded it down.. Also don’t forget that it’s better to work in layers.. so that also applies in the background.. so start with a base color and the darker tones are usually lower than higher on a cloud

Watercolor is such a beautiful art form. It also translates well in tattoo form. I have one for my mother’s memorial tattoo and now I just want the rest that I want to be in that style. But back to praising you. Your highlighting work on the hair, especially Rei’s, was amazing. I never knew you could layer with water color.
