- So as yall know we did a shortbed conversion on this ol pickup. Alot of the conversion trucks you see people will leave the "scars" of the pickup or run no trim etc. My goal on this one is to make it a 5 footer, where unless you are right on this thing, there's no indicators it was cut down! On top of the the bodys on these things arent aligned the best so we are going to address some of that as well. Lets see what a some elbow grease will do to this rig!

My Dad had an 89 OBS but his boss at the time had an 87 square body that was all black & lifted on 35's. The memory of that truck has left me wishing I had one like it the rest of my adult life.@@christopherbelanger9159
Who would have thought that a year later the truck that time forgot would be brought back to life. With everything that has happened in the last year with your channel Puddin nobody deserves it more than you and your family . The old Jimmy is testimony to what work and determination can accomplish. People would give their eye teeth for a free truck if they could envision the potential in the rough. There is definitely more to be done and we're sure its in the right hands. The last few videos have been the best time Ive spent my friend watching the progress of this restoration. The collaboration between Slick and you is what friendship is all about and we wont leave out Bill either as he possess some way back knowledge. Hopefully this next year will be the year you are recognized for the hard work you've done more than ever. Be careful and stay safe my friend and don't worry about CZcams you did the right thing by bringing a little backup with you to the bone yard . I would have brought something bigger though but thats just me. God love ya brother.

Not a massive square body fan, but that one has the look and now it looks excellent, totally dig that color too. The black coming through on the hood looks sick!! Props to you on the stellar job shortening that old gal up and Slick did an amazing job laying down the shine!! Looks like it got one of those wipe on clear treatments!!! Honesty, I think this is my favorite vehicle you got back on the road. If you end up keeping it for a shop truck, thinking them doors would be perfect for some dark colored old school style hand painted on shop logos and lettering.

Such a relatable build. The vibe is simple, the parts used to get the look are simple. That’s what makes this (to date) one of the coolest vehicles of the channel. Can’t wait for a shirt with the ol’ girl on it.
