Lego train rail crossing 2.0 FAILS: Lego train wars

Lego train rail crossing FAILS resulting in Lego train wars! Automated by Arduino. The Lego Terminator is super bored and asks Leo if he has something to do for him. Leo let's him automate 4 Lego train crossings next to each other.

This video shows a quadruple rail crossing which is automated by Arduino. Signals from the Lego train station controllers indicate whether a train that has priority is apporaching the crossing. In this case, the tracks of the non-priorrity lego train tracks are disabled and the Lego train signals are put to red. As long as the signal from the station controller remains active, the non-priority lego train tracks remain disabled. Once disabled, the signals are put to green and the non-priority tracks are started using PWM technology.

I had some trouble with disturbances on the communication lines between the controllers. It took about 60 hours to build and program it.
