I've finished Jak and Daxter once, Jak 2 twice (regular AND hero mode), and Jak 3 I think 2 times (both regular cuz I ended up rage quitting on Hero Mode)
I just like watching how people explain my fave games. :3

If I may be so bold as to say, Jack 3 has one of the best final boss fights in gaming. The fight utilizes all of the skills you learned in game flawlessly.
I'm surprised you didn't mention that the Sand Shark, the one vehicle that the game forces you to use in nearly every dune buggy mission, controls like you're driving on ice thats covered in butter.

(As you can tell im a pretty big fan of Jak games) You really deserve every subscriber you put so much time, effort and energy into your videos. You can reach all the Precursor Orbs in Spargus City with a Leaper. You just have to git gud!

This one was in my recommended videos and I've never had one of them give me cause to subscribe to a channel before. Just about to start a LP on this game so I was hoping to learn some derp prevention tips. Ended up laughing as much as learning. This was brilliant. :D
Awesome, I just found your channel and blasted through a bunch of your videos and I very much enjoyed them. I can't wait for Ratchet and Clank but I do hope you also choose to cover the Sly Cooper games as well for they are my personal favorite of the 3 PS2 Platforming Series, however I believe that I will continue to watch your videos either way. So thank you for a great series and I hope to continue watching.
A really fun way to play Jak 3: only use the original 4 weapons from Jak 2, and don’t use Light Jak regenerate. The game gets a really nice added level of challenge without being as BS as Jak 2.

"Only use the original 4 weapons from Jak 2 UNLESS A MISSION FORCES YOU TO USE ONE OF THE NEW WEAPONS" because there are a few missions that flat-out force you to use the new guns (the Beam Reflexor and Wave Concussor Gun Courses, for one; the first trip through the Precursor Temple in the desert for another - there's a point where there's a ring of instakill robots where you HAVE TO use the Wave Concussor to kill them all or DIE because they'll all turn and shoot you as soon as your invis runs out)
I didn’t grow up with the series but my aunt introduced me to it, and I loved it, originally I had all 4 games (if you count jak x cr) on the ps2, and I did the arduous task of 100% all 4 of them (keep in mind these are my favorites of all time) although jak 3 is almost a 5 and a half hours shorter than jak II, I’ll agree it’s an epic send off of the series, also, Miss butter buns, when I get discord I’d like to do a friendly speed run competition between all three games, you are one of my top favorite CZcamsrs and would like to have the chance to play against you. Also have a good day. :)

It's funny how much I love this game, as I never actually played it in some way. Got the first as a present when I was pretty young, never got past the first lava thing/hoverbike. I found by chance the 2 in a gamestore "ooh that's the game I really liked and it got cooler" (edgy kid likes edgy game) but still was stuck for a long time... just outside the cell cause the alarm scared me, and even when I got past it I got about to the second area of haven city. The 3rd is the first I actually finished as a kid... Sorry if I rambled too much, I just went back to my childhood with these videos, thank you for making them
This was so accurate and I loved every second of it. the part about the hopper car killed me😂
Another tip I just discovered: the Vulcan mod is basically unusable in a pinch because of the spin up time but if you start firing right after a roll jump it’s already spun up for some reason and shoots super fast right away

my own tip get the turbo hover board in the desert upgrade. this allows you to complete several missions much easier by jumping out of your car and onto your board

I remember when this came out I got this as my first ps2 game and I always ran around and never knew what to do and got mad. Even till this day I never understood why I liked this game so much and what was the point of Jak. But this game kinda built my love for games.

does anyone else remember when they gave away the demo disc's with a bunch of different game demos on them? i remember playing the jak 3 demo which was the giant desert metal heads mission, i remember just trying to get hit by the metal heads and trying to get launched as far as possible.

It really was an amazing game in my opinion
I’m not gonna lie, I like Jak 3 the most. Like....by far. To a point that I just wouldn’t go back to Jak 2 afterwards. But I played Jak 3 first so maybe I’m biased about it
I just loved everything about it though. The fact that you can use precursor orbs to upgrade things and get stronger, more creative guns, light Jak, driving stages, desert areas, areas that felt like Zelda dungeons, armour upgrades, fun mini games and races compared to Jak 2, and the best sewer level ever in a video game.
I was given Jak and Daxter several years before I got this one, and I didn't have Jak II, SO BOY WAS I IN FOR A SURPRISE. I still believe that this one is the best, because its a combination of part 1 & 2 And it's just wonderful. I did try to 100% it once. Just once. I managed to get all but 24 orbs, so I guess you can count that as 100%? I don't know. It's just a lotta fun.
Also a tip, when you're in the.middle of the wasteland and need to do those random tricks for orbs, firstly, buy vehicle toughness, secondly use the anti-gravity gun (peacemaker #2) and thirdly, use the super nova gun (peacemaker #3) and it'll help you get most of them. Also your car might not make it...so....yeah. Oh well, life isn't without its ups and downs.

I remember if you punched and shot with the blaster right after you shot like a burst of bullets, it was hella powerful but it consumed quite the bullets.... but it was hella powerful, I dont remember if it was in Jak 2 tbh
