HI ptwodz thanks for your question; I´m Zé Manel Martins the composer of ths song; This was 1976 just after the portuguese revolution (1974) and the lyrics are about the future and past of Fado representing Portuguese People; How they hed been suffering and how they can be with hope after the revolution;
