At the end of your video put up a list of the gear you besides your gun, rifle, scope, etc. But share the tent/tipi, sleeping bag, pad, etc. Just a fyi.
Thermacell and bug net are good, but also add Permethrin! Spray tents and gear. Kills the skeeters.
Thermacell my guy! Bye bye to mosquitoes. It works like a charm and i dont go in the forest or mountain without it. They even have the Autumn scent sheets for it, perfect for hunters.

You had me considering running a lightweight tarp + floor mat shelter until I got to the part with the mosquitoes 😂 that's been my main reason for continuing to use a tent, even in hot weather.

Spot and Stalk bear hunting drove me to the brink of insanity, but man is it worth it. So much better than driving on dirt roads waiting to pull up on a bear in the middle of the road.

On man I miss the beautiful Wa mountains. I've been between two bugling elk on the east side when archery hunting with a good friend and ill never forget it. I really miss archery hunting on the east side. Gods creation is amazing!!!
I am running the Crispi Thor boots also. How often do you wipe them down and is there any other maintenance you do to keep them "breathing" and functional? I am loving your videos and look to collaborate soon! =-)

I thought we just did this with skeeters a few weeks ago out fishing? Never go light in the land of plenty. You went light and paid for it. You should have camped in a location with lots of air movement. Like on a ridge. Those were some nice elk.

What optics are you running in terms of bino and spotting scope?
I am using the Vortex Razor UHD 10x50 for binos and the Vortex Razor 27-60x85 for my spotter.
6.5 creeds waste a lot of good meat cause of bullet fragments its a shame ! great videos....

When is Moose season? I have not seen any vids of you hunting Moose. There seem to be regular sightings. Just curious. I know nothing about Moose.

Invest in a can of Raid, give your tent a SHORT spray and wait 10 minutes . Go up wind from your camp about 40 feetand spray across wind then go jump in your tent. A tea candle in a short tin can set off to the side will get them also.
Live and learn latest greatest thing not always the best. Keep up the videos and I bet I know where you will be elk hunting.

Not all mosquitos are the same. The mosquitoes in Greenland is not as aggressive and the bites do not itch as bad as compared to the States. This was my personal experience.
