I've taken the Millenium Line twice & I gotta say that the corridor between Burquitlam Station & Moody Centre Station is my all time favourite part of the entire Millenium Line. Nice & fast all the way especially the tunnel portion.
Took this line every day from Lougheed to Brentwood or Gilmore and vice-versa to get to class. And on weekends from Lougheed to Coquitlam Central to go to work. Miss the good times 😢. Then Vancouver got too expensive and I moved to Edmonton. This was back in 2017, I am surprised how fast Gilmore is developing, before around it there were just houses and some commerce. Same for Brentwood. Well, too bad housing is still VERY expensive.
SkyTrain is the medium-capacity rapid transit system in the Metro Vancouver Regional District, serving Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. SkyTrain has 79.6 km of track and uses fully automated trains on grade-separated tracks running on underground and elevated guideways, allowing SkyTrain to hold consistently high on-time reliability. The SkyTrain system is automated and doesn’t usually have drivers in the cab. But if a train is experiencing reliability issues or in harsh weather conditions like heavy snow, the trains can be manually operated.

I love Vancouver. Very pretty City. Clean subway station.
The skyline in Burnaby (specifically Brentwood) looks seriously impressive these days.

Thank you for this video showing a Canadian /Vancouver sky train. Nice and interesting ride, except for the sky cloudy.

Is this system handled by automated trains or is there a driver utilizing cab signals?
