Enjoying the build Will, if you can’t make a mistake or two you can’t do Jack all mate - the important bit is learning from them which you’re doing! Something perhaps you might think about adding is an external camera system / night vision so you can see what’s happening from inside the van. Depends how sophisticated you want to make it, but being able to see what’s going on nearby might be reassuring and offer a layer of security.

Always measure outside and inside to where you want to install things. And you will be fine, also before drilling check your build video’s and pictures to see where wires and pipes are. Chin up mate and remember a change is as good as a rest. Go camp 👍👍👍

Well done Will on what you have done so far. Your honesty is nice and refreshing to see, you don't pretend it is easy and all glamour lol. I personally would love to see you travelling down through Spain this winter ( stealth camping in a Mercadona Supermarket) and next Summer go up to Scandinavia. Keep up the great videos. 👍

Good to see the van coming along in this vlog after last week which was a bit trying for. You've repaired mistakes yourself and you can be proud of yourself for that. I'm still baffled by Wi-Fi but that's because I'm old. Good to hear that your friends Neil and Emma are going to help you with some of the build. You will be able to bounce ideas off each other and get more done. Take care Will 💪

Will the big seat if you put bat-tons halfway down you could put a box in side and slide it back and forth to get to the bottom. Curtains put curtain ties on them

Great job, everyone has drilled through a cable at some point, at least your's wasn't 240v, I would have been tempted to cut the tube a couple of mm inside the van roof and then the cable could be routed under the cladding. An angle grinder with a cutting disk would make quick work of it, keep up the great work.

Will, great job with the van build, inspires us DIYers to one day do this. One day, I want to make a holiday camper van, so me and my husband can take short weekend breaks around the UK or even to the beach without paying rip of hotel fees. I never did travelling when I was young or camping so feel I missed out. So its on my bucket list, to go camping and fishing. PS: There is a kit you can buy on Amazon, I picked one up when I installed my android stereo in my car, had to do wire connection to make a iso cable. Pick up some heat shrink crimp connectors, you get them in a nice box and not expensive, around £13 on Amazon. The beauty off this product is, you can crimp 2 wires together and then use a head gun and the connector will shrink and make a air, tight connection so you don't have to worry about the cable coming loose over time. You can even use a lighter for convenience. Keep one in the van as you never know when you may need it. But anyway, well done, you are giving me a lot of ideas when I do my van build in the future.

I enjoy a mix of the everyday routines of van life and trips to beautiful places. You mentioned Scotland, how about a bit of Scottish island hopping 🙂
