Is the Pick Up box enough to build TG? I built Tachyon and Shiranui (kinda useless coz I don't really PvP) and wondering if I should use my gems to get a 3rd run of Tenyi or dig for Crackdown and IDP.

The yusei skill is busted too that sets up the field spell and junk converter from your deck meaning that you're playing a 18 card deck
Not that busted imo. You’re locked in to special summoning junk and synchron and also ex deck monsters that have specifically 2500, 3300, 4000 atk. You can’t even go for crystal wing anymore lol

The edit with dark magician holding a glue stick was heavily well edited together. The Shiranui who played through the DD crow was actually pretty good and the ending duel with seto, could had won if his grave yard negate field spell did not come back to bite him as mentioned.
the skill locks you out of using the moonlight black rose on ur opponents turn “cannot activate the effects of level 7 or higher monsters on your opponents turn except for ‘T.G.’ monsters”

Guys i know this may sound crazy but hear me out , i believe the game state of duel links is getting better in terms of boxes and gems , box chips and even dream tickets, not to mention pick up boxes (those were game changers ) compared to when MD came out , i don't know about you but i can see a small bright future there

I need to level up Antimony when I get a chance. Tech Genius is a nifty alternative to the Synchron game plan.
Well it's an annoying control deck turn 1 again but then it usually ended up this anyway and now it's consistent enough to at least make the monsters you want to on top of just making Halberd Cannon. About as good as we're gonna get I feel.

I thought it would be very weak to disruption, but being able to guarantee Striker and Warwolf to get into Wonder Magician for a backrow pop/bait makes it surprisingly push through disruption very well
That comment on Sky Striker is funny because (As I've said before) it feels like Konami didn't want history to repeat itself by making it so you can't play them with Trickstars while using the skill. Like what happened in the TCG.
i decided to try going into pick up box just yesterday since i already had a lot of random good stuff synchros like the crystron lv9 and black rose and never really got into t.g when it first came out, i think once i start getting the rest of the cards and combining it with the yusei synchron stuff i have it will be fun to use with those
shame resonators werent in the pickup, but T.G is where the hype is at anyway, excited to get into them with new support, also cannot wait to see the rest of the videos for this box

I swear, a lot of people in the comments section watch these Loom videos with the audio turned off because if you watch the FIRST TWO minutes of the video, Loom very clearly states that the CORE of the Tech Genus deck is very free to play friendly because the only cards you really need for the decklist to function are your T.G. Screw Serpent, T.G. Striker, T.G. Warwolf, T.G. Booster Raptor, T.G. Halberd Cannon, T.G. Trident Launcher, and the T.G. Limiter Removal.
Mind you that the Screw Serpent, Warwolf, and Halberd Cannon are in the newest Shooting Riders pickup box, T.G. Striker is obtained at 3 copies by maxing out Antinomy, and Booster Raptor is a drop from Antinomy himself. As for Trident Launcher and Limiter Removal, well the T.G. Trident Launcher is Rare rarity from the Striker Expansion mainbox so it's easy to snag and T.G. Limiter Removal is expensive because it's mainbox Ultra Rare, but you only need one of it anyway because the skill searches your Limiter Removal for you and you don't want to see it in your hand. Playing 2 or 3 T.G. Limiter Removal isn't bad for larger deck sizes though but in a 20 card pure T.G. decklist, you only need one of it to mitigate bricking on too many Limiter Removals turn one in your opening hand.
As for the tech cards, people see Forbidden Droplet and their brains just explode or something. Guys, Forbidden Droplet is just a TECH card and is it NOT required for the decklist to function. Loom clearly stated that if you don't have Forbidden Droplet, literally just play any tech cards you do have and the deck will be fine. Droplet can be replaced with Forbidden Chalice, a free to play card from Box Chips. No Forbidden Lance? No problem, just play Mystical Space Typhoon instead. No Compulsory Evacuation Device? Again, literally just play any other limit 3 backrow, even Floodgate Trap Hole if you really have nothing else. The Extra Deck is also very flexible, just toss in whatever you got and the deck plays fine. All you need from the Extra Deck is Halberd Cannon, Trident Launcher, and Black Rose Dragon and that's it.
I found this video quite helpful in learning the new Tech Genus combos and what the deck can do. It's a really fun deck and the new Limiter Removal Regulators Open skill gave it everything the deck needed to come back into the meta. I'm not sure if Tech Genus will be top tier or anything, but it's definitely looking like a high tier rogue deck to me. Maybe it can snag a few spots in the upcoming April 2024 KC Cup (my 27th birthday on the 5th of April), but we just have to wait and see what people come up with. Thanks for the video Loom!!!!! The only downside to the deck is that one dd crow can screw up your combo or veiler but i recommend playing lancea so that dd crow cant counter your summon and also playing Lance

What cards could I use instead of Droplet and Crow?
Forbidden chalice replaces droplet, isn’t as a droplet to negate all cards (dark ruler no more is replaced, but opponent no damage).
As crow, I haven’t return duel links which best side for crow replace with. Wish your best man.
Lol it might be f2p on duel links but sadly not on master duel I’m 8k gems in and still missing hyper Librarian, and 2 of the new salamander

Trish is really good because it's non-targeted banishment which is really good in this meta. I'd go for it. Loom didn't really have to fight with it but you will.
Clear Wing is okay but its not necessary. The deck really doesn't need another negate and it doesn't have problem beat sticking but there's worse you could play.
I don't have the third copy of t.g. striker, what can I replace it with?

i would get rid of the staples and add miscelleneosaurus and have three booster raptors, that way when i need to discard a card for the limiter removal i can discard the miscelleneosaurus and essential get access to three tg monsters instead of the two

Thankfully I got K.O.G. last night before more people began to experiment with new box using Lunalight, it might be a Glass Cannon cause the deck don't use background removal aside from Rabbit but the damage it can deal on a single turn is more than enough.
I just hope sky strikers turns out to be competitve. I‘m kinda worried

I normally wouldnt bother making that ENTIRE intro portion before the decklist explaining why this archetype is free to play but for some reason people see droplet and their brains explode so I made it to avoid comments just like this one. Bro its just a tech, it is not a requirement for the deck just play chalice or something, its not rocket science. I really shouldnt have to mention TWICE in this video that it can be replaced, I swear people watch with audio turned off.

I have problem in duel links😢 in customise option you can buy game mat and card sleeve with gem. Some of them are reward from events, some of them are like you need do something (level up char to 10 or summon monster X 100 time and etc), some could be bought with gems. There are a few sleeve and mats I want buy when I go to buy it the option is off (for example seto kaiba 7th anniversary and etc...). I want to know is there any way to get sleeve and mat I want without spending money or not, also you can buy it for gems and after a certain amount of time the option will go and after that you must spend money? (sorry englis isn't my first language but I think you get what I meant)

I would not say so. The deck seems good with the new quasar road combo. It won t be tier 2-3 after nerf but might be a good contender to go up the ladder. As well as kozmo or s-force.

I am getting tired of how unbalaced one singular skill always is. We keep rotating from metas sorrounding "how to beat this deck with an unbalanced skill"...
Weak decks that could use a decent skill to compete require you to sacrifice your first born child to go -2 to summon your 1 nagate boss monster and nothing else, while already decent - strong decks auto duels the game for you...
