Christina & Jay ate that argument scene up! Whew that was some acting ok! Also, this was probably the most drama filled episode of the series & it was executed brilliantly.
My heart goes out to lawrence.

What I want to know is WHY Issa and Molly weren't at Simone's birthday party? I wish that would have been mentioned, it's not realistic for them not to be there and then we also don't find out why they were not. Hopefully they mention it in an upcoming episode cause otherwise someone dropped the ball.

I feel like they deff were there just maybe at a different time. Also this episode was Lawrence’s story so they wouldn’t show if issa and Molly went at a different time

Maaaaan, I said the same thing!!! Like why weren't at the party. That would have added a whole other dynamic to Lawrence and Condola being there too
I think it’s plausible for friends who don’t have kids to be absent from a kids’ birthday party. They may celebrate the milestone by dropping off a gift but not necessarily being present at the event. Kelly is there in the role of host and God-mother. Artistically, I also think Issa was left out of the scene so as to not divert from the theme of the episode which is the pressures of co-parenting. Issa’s presence would have had us up in our feels about whether she made the right decision or not. Their encounter will surely come, soon!

Prentice Penny is such a snazzy dresser, I love his sartorial style.
The fact that Christina is actually a new mother adds a layer of authenticity to the character. The argument with Lawrence /Jay about not trusting him was as poignant as it was heartbreaking. Their relationship is a toxic mess.

Definitely don't like the character
This episode has been the realist on this topic since Lionel and Jenny's fight about their newborn baby on Jeffersons (but a marriage perspective). Kudos to the writer, who I believe played the pediatrician.👍

Is only this episode in particular on Insecure that doesn't seem to upload - I try other shows, and they do come up!

@@williamsdonnel2878 don’t matter how “grown”’ she is. Plenty of women sleep with multiple men just like men do women. Things happen. But there’s not enough time left in the series to explore that storyline.

Yeah, I don't think Condola deserves all the hate. She really hasn't done anything wrong. We just hate that she interrupted things between Issa and Lawrence, just as they were finally getting back on track.

@@cv8499 he wanted to get married 4real...she n her friends implied he was a boytoy...she ain't let him hit until she found out issa was his ex...he broke up with her n she ghosted issa on their event they planned 2gether out of spite...n she told that man he can be as involved as he wanted...then blamed him 4 not being as involved while trying to emasculate him when he tries to be involved...she always had a spiteful thing to her personality...

@@Jchelle07 well Couldn’t have been the same day as Issa/Crenshawn event. Kelly asked if Lawrence had heard she died 9mo ago. And we saw last week that the fashion event was a year after the Stanford thing
