Actually..... Zygarde 50% (the snake one) is the only form introduced in X/Y, all the other ones were introduced in the Alola games with the cell hunt minigame, so Zygarde dog form is technically a gen 7 pokemon
Also 10% form has a much lower bst.
Posted this a couple of times. Seeing rock wrecker perform so well i thought I'd put it up again.
Idea for an "It's how accurate!?" Challenge.
Your pokemon has the moves Steel Wing (90%), Hurricane (70%), Inferno (50%), and Sheer Cold (30%).
Using random encounters, you attack with any move you like. If it hits you run, if it misses you catch. You get two catches per move, totalling 8 pokemon, so best save your Sheer Colds for legendaries and Steel Wings for babies.
Could also give your pokemon Hustle to increase your chance to miss.

Fun fact fkr this one: One Hit KO moves cannot have increased or decreased accuracy (so evasiveness or accuracy drops are not lowering this 30%) unless wole accuracy check is bypassed (mind reader/lock on moves or No guard ability).

Consecutive Capture Challenge
(For Sw/Sh)
Rules: Each player catches a dozen pokémon exclusively from random encounters (fishing, trees, etc.). Then, they form teams of six consecutively-caught pokémon. For example: you could take the pokémon from encounters 1-6, or 3-8, or 6-11, any combination as long as they were all caught one after the other. I think you could run it just as well evolved as non-evolved.
I might add the clarifier that the pokemon are in a loop, so you can take the last 2 caught to pair with the first 4. 11-4

I would have counted the Zygard dog form as not fully evolved and thus not qualified.
Skitty and Meowstic are my favorite gen 3 and 6 'mon respectively. Gen 3 also has so many other good 'mon, though I love the fancy and elegant feeling of Kalos.

Not only does Gen 6 have the LEAST amount of new pokemon, but due to the dex cuts in gen 8, which is the gen you're playing here, the amount of gen 6 pokemon in the actual game have been cut further!
It's crazy how they confuse so many Gen 5 Pokemon for Gen 6 Pokemon, seeing how the first few years of VS challenges were held in Black & White

I don't think 10% Zygarde is fully evolved, so while sorta technically legendary it doesn't fit the requirement for fully evolved.

Zyguard 10% form isn't the fully evolved form of the legendary so I wouldn't count it because it isn't fully evolved.
no, it's a form change. Something like the green head guy (Carlarex?) With or without the horse are still full forms
Or rotom forms, the normal bolt shape ghost is still a full form
It was also introduced in Sun and Moon rather than X and Y. I personally wouldn't count it because the form didn't exist in the generation he's supposed to be looking for

There are certain Pokemon that aren't as viable without their original abilities. I'd include a clause where you guys agree on which mons you're allowed to default to their normal abilities instead of ability capsuling them

I mean gen 3 has 2 pseudo legendary Pokemon and a whole bunch of legends like Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, the three Regi's, Latia & Latios, Jirachi and Deoxys just to name a few so it destroying a gen that added the least amount of new Pokemon is understandable.

I personally feel that Zygarde 10% and Perfect Forms are more Generation 7 than Generation 6. Only the 50% Form appears in the Generation 6 games.

Here's an idea for you both:
Roll a D10/ Spin a Wheel
Whatever the number, you must encounter a Pokémon with something pertaining to that number (E.G. roll a 3 and encounter a Tauros which you catch because it has 3 tails).
Overworld encounter
Random Pokémon
Random abilities
Fully evolved
3 skips
Roll 10 sided die/ spin wheel with 10 numbers to determine feature of Pokémon to capture
Quick would have really benefitted from using Magic Powder on that impostered Malamar. Would have removed its Dark-Type Stab on Brutal Swing and made it weak to Aegislash.

Okay so i have a very unique challenge. Its called catch, fight, keep! You go into the wild and go for wild encounters, you masterball what ever you find, you then go back into the wild with the pokemon and fight the encounter with the best possible moves, if you win, you keep that pokemon and fully evolve it at the end but if you lose you have to catch the pokemon you lost to and keep its evolution.

If the pokemon is dual type you lose both types.
2. One pokemon from every Gen
3. One random pokemon from each route
4. The wheel spin with all the different Generations but only fighting babies.

I hope one day one of them trolls the other and makes a Ninjask with no guard, sheer cold, guillotine, fissure, and psychic terrain. Gets swept down to their last pokemon then the ninjask comes out and reverse sweeps
best imposter pokemon would be something like blissy. that massive health is all that stays through the change.

A challenge you all could do is a never before used Pokemon challenge. Only Pokemon that have NEVER BEEN USED IN ANY OF THE CHALLENGES.
You know, technically Quick could have chosen Gen 3 pokemons as well since Omega Ruby and Alpha Saphire are Gen 6 as well.
Quick missing the Fletchinder right before the Diggersby, and then later saying he hasn't seen a Talonflame. 😩
Challenge idea you both will use country name randomizer and get a name for yourself, So you catch pokemon representing that country national animal i.e. you get a country with national animal tiger so you can catch a arcanine or something close that animal colour or feature, or you get country with national animal a snake you catch yourself a seviper or a arbok or any of the snake pokemon. And in this way you will catch total 8 pokemon for yourself with 2 skip and battle find out who are the best countries with national animals.
Want to see one where you guys use ability capsules on all catches to make them as good as possible 👍

Both are my favorite generations. First Gen I played for 3 and My favorite Pokemon Greninja in Gen 6.
To be honest, I think you should consider dog form Zygard as the pre-evolution. Kind of like Cosmog in a way.
Challenge idea: You catch ten (or more) random mons and with every encounter you rate them 1-10 depending on how much you want them. But every rating can only be given once. After the catching phase you get to see each other's Pokemon and rate them yet again without knowing what the other rated it. If your rating is higher you will get it, if it's lower the other can keep it and if both of your ratings are the same no one gets it.
Torkoal has White Smoke which prevents stats I feel like that should also prevent weather chip damage too. So should Clear Body.
You should do a Gen 7 playthrough I'd love to see it
Id love for someone to calculate the pokemon that has been used the most through all these videos over the last few years since it started. Id say it is seismitoad. That one used to be on ALL the time. Some dedicated fan needs to do this 😆

Petal blizzard needs better distribution. Thunderbolt, flamethrower, and ice beam get handed to everything under the sun while their grass equivalent isnt even available to most good grass types.

Okay the thing about Zygarde is that it's 10% form only appears in the Gen 7 games. Only it's full form appears in Gen 6. So you could've skipped that and not counted it as a legend
