Few things coming from ford lightning world. The jb weld is likely plugging “silencer holes” in the blower, making it louder. 100% the norm on eatons in ford land. As for the oil, ford lightnings suffered from garbage pcv systems that would suck oil into the intercooler. Very similar to what you see.
had the same oiling issue in my 17. That factory vent that dumps directly into the supercharger needs to be blocked off. I'd also check your intake runners. If the oil has built up in there you can loosen the rocker arms for walnut blasting with the heads still on to get them clean. Nvm just got deep enough in the video to see that you did exactly that lol.
Looks like you needed some surgical gloves to handle that port plate, it so pretty and shiny. And thank you so much for keeping this car in tip top shape. I want sooo bad!!
Just bought a 19. I’ll be following this now lol. Is yours sketchy at high speeds? My buddies is the same way. For a 200mph car something don’t feel right though
@@Boostisablast oh u have the 2019 version. dunno about that one. i do know is alot of these cars got terrible diffs, terrible bushings, badly grounded wires. might not be now but it will happen sooner or later.
@@deathrager2404 oh i know my gf had a 2016 ats and it was giant POS HAHA! I’ve already had my trans flushed for the vibration and had it back for a O2 sensor. All within the first 1,000 miles 😂
