It is incredibly difficult to make even very small lifestyle changes such as eating more vegetables or exercising daily. It is so difficult to do even those small things that 85% of people relapse into their old habits. And those small changes take a large amount of self-control, will power, perseverance, time, dedication and effort. So it would take a MASSIVE amount of time and energy to make the type of permanent huge personality changes that this guys needs. It's basically statistically impossible for ANYONE to make that huge of a personality change permanently. Especially after 30. Once you've reached 30 your personality and habits are basically set in stone and it's going to take even more effort to change them. People don't change. I don't believe people can change. ALL of the research and statistics and science just refute the idea that people can permanently change.

This summary was literally so stressful to watch, they deserve each other. They're both crazy! The ugly woman with a great heart is just a mask, and she is still the beautiful and crazy woman she is. Those poor children! And I hate it that they always use an extra woman as wedding plot device. Karen also deserved better

Oh God. The movie would be okay if either first scene didn't exist or the reset of the movie was like the first scene. This just does not add up. It's like seeing a movie about a guy who rapes and kills a girl because she wasn't a good person and then goes and finds his happy ending.
Having never been considered particularly beautiful, as a matter of fact, downright ugly as described by some, l have nothing to say about this fakeness. It's difficult navigating through a world so full of vanity and superficiality. Ppl dont understand how deeply it hurts, shames and embarrasses a person to be called ugly, especially when it's done in public and insultingly. It causes you to develop severe low self esteem and inferiority complex, timidness and lack of self confidence. Itmay even cause a person to loathe him/herself. Ppl considered beautiful never really understand. Skin deep beauty DOES matter no matter the little positive gems and motivational words dont work to boost the spirit when u feel ugly on the outside. Sometimes feeling ugly on the outside result in becoming ugly on the inside due to the fact that ppl hurt u so much with their unkind words that you end up defensive and angry, then resentful and hateful, then really nasty and bitchy. It's a tough study, very complicated. Its not easy.
