Such a clever idea for beautiful soap made with affordable budget. Going out to get a canister of Pringles..or 12.
Thank you so much for appreciating my work. Wishing you all the best this 2019.
Loved your tutorial of how to make the round mould and would love to see what you do with your scraps.
I've been slowing buying the tools I need to start making soap, but.i have to say you have the best method of lining a Pringles can ive ever seen, and I've watched tons on soap making videos, when I start making soap im going to try your method
+Tameka Chambers thank you so much for the bit compliment. 🌞😍 yes please go ahead and try.
Counted 7 . Love the combination of making a Mold and then making soap. Love recycling using what we already have.
Thank you so much for watching and thanks for your support! Really appreciate. 😍
How innovative! Great work! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for watching and for appreciating my craft.
I love love love your videos .You are a great teacher and super talented .Thank you for making them I am new to soap making and they have helped me alot
I am happy to share. Thank you so much Kim for the biggest compliment ever. You made my day!😃
Thank you, for sharing! Beautiful soap!
Most welcome. I'm always happy to share. Stay safe and healthy. 💕
Beautifully done! Just used a Pringle can today. After watching your video, I'm both excited and nervous. I hope it comes out of the can. I did it totally different.
Thank you for the compliment bjcoggy. It's alright, you'll never go wrong with the Pringles can. If it doesn't come out as smooth, you can always tear the canister apart, I did that in some of my soaps before.. I hope I can see your soaps too. I am also very excited for you, fingers crossed for easy unmolding and perfect round soaps! 👍
This soap is amazingly beautiful. I love the swirl, it's perfect. I counted 6 clumsy meter emojis. Don't know if that's right but I watched the video a couple times. LOL this was kind of fun! 😊
Hello Maple Flagg. Thank you so much for the compliment on the swirls. I won't confirm yet on how many is the total clumsy meter emojis are there. So others will do the counting and join the fun! I am really glad that you enjoyed it! 😘🙌
I love how you made your own dividers! I love the color swirl! I will have to re-watch again to count the clumsy smiles! hehe I was to interested in watching to keep an accurate count!! God bless!!
Thank you so much Elizabeth. I'm glad that you liked the color swirl. Yes, need to accurately count the clumsy meter wink emojis there to join the giveaway. God bless you and your family. 🤗
D' Clumsy Soaper, Cathy as much as I love that mat, I am still very thankful for randomly winning the last giveaway! And feel like sharing the love and just playing for fun and letting someone else win. ♡♡♡ but my guess is also 6!
Thanks for always supporting me. No confirmation on whether this is right or wrong yet, so others will also do their counting. Good luck Elizabeth, whether you win this or not.. my birthday gift to you is coming your way. No need to use a liner on that, but you still need to seal the bottom end with cling wrap, same as what I did with the Pringles can.
D' Clumsy Soaper, Cathy thank you so much. I can't wait to try it out and show you. ♡♡♡
Same here! ❤😍
Awww you are a sweetheart ❤️
Thank you so much Eve. ❤️
omg love it... ur colors r fantastic..dont u know im on my 3rd use of the same can..whoohoo mother earth really loves me ...heheheh. by the way ur chips was probably way better tasting too...lol
Thank you Christina for the compliment. 3rd use of the same can, awesome! Properly lining the pringles can is really the key. I saw some soapmakers teach others to use the can directly. This is a big No No because the can is coated and it has the tendency to leach. Not only did you made Mother Earth happy, you made me happy too - for teaching and sharing on how to do it the right way, No shortcuts!
Ahhhhh, the flavor. It so happened that the Pringles Sour Cream and Onion Potato Chips flavor run out in the grocery when I bought this, that is my favorite flavor and the original. These tortilla chips is okay when compared to Doritos. My all time favorite, too bad they don't have a canister that we can use for soapmaking. lol 👍😆🙌😘🤗
D' Clumsy Soaper, Cathy awwww thanks hun... and yeah ive never tried the tortilla ones..lol bug the sour cream and onion r my fav too lol
Birds of the same feather flock together. lol.
I wonder on how many more things are common between us? I love having so many soapy friends! In my real life circle, it is only me who likes to make soaps so sharing it here in youtube and finding a community helps a lot. I cannot thank you enough Christina.
Tanke u very much, its very nice that you explain also for the beginners❤️
Welcome. Glad that you liked it. ❤️
Haha I liked this video but you are not clumsy! Greetings from Argentina!
Thank you so much. 💕🥰 Much love and big hugs!
Love your video and your chipper self. Recycling is always a good thing. I got six (6) clumsy meters.
Thank you so much for the love and support Jeanne. I won't reveal on how many clumsy meters are there yet. So others can join the fun. God bless you and your family. 😍🙌
Thanks for posting this.
You are most welcome. I am happy to share. Happy 2019!
Fantastic and awesomereceipe.thanks a lot
I love you 😗🤗 can you please suggest the mixing proportion of the colorants. Once again thanks
Hello Latha. Thank you for the big compliment. You can use 1 tsp Colorant per pound of oil. 😍
I'm a new subscriber! I just accidentally found your channel tonight and really enjoyed it. I don't think I've ever seen soap made without the use of a stick blender. I've just recently started my own CZcams channel and would love to experiment with the lace mat! I counted 7 clumsy emojis😉 and also enjoyed counting them. I would also like to see the footage of you making the embeds out of your end pc. of soap! Thanks for sharing, I hope you stop by my channel sometime and I'm excited I found your channel. I'm off to watch more of your videos!
Hello Jamie. Yes we can move away from using a stick blender as long as the concentration of lye solution is on the higher range. I use 37% lye solution in all my soaps. Thank you for joining the raffle, i'll announce the lucky winner this week. Alright i'll edit the video on how I made the embeds and release as soon as it is ready. I stopped by on your channel and thanks for sharing your lovely creations. I love the heart shaped bath bomb that you made. I subscribed on your channel and I am excited to see more of your creations. ❤🌈
Cathy, thanks for subscribing. I am working on more videos! See you soon!
I only see 6 total. You must really love Pringles ... lol. Also, I would love to see you do a video making a frosting WITHOUT sugar and meringue. Maybe something with M&P or other recipe with baking soda, citric, etc.
Hello Laurie. For the total number of clumsies, I won't give any confirmations yet so the rest can still do their counting and join the fun.
Hehehe Yes I love Pringles. :-) This is a very good idea, i'll put this on the pipeline and upload the video as soon as I have it. Thank you so much! God bless you and your family. 😘🤗
I counted 7. i love the colors
+noemi carrion Hello Noemi. Thank you for watching and thank you so much for the compliment. I won't confirm yet on how many clumsies are there coz the rest still need to do their own counting and join the fun. 😀🤗
I counted 6 and I watched it twice 😊
Thank you so much Susan. I won't give any confirmation on whether that is right or wrong, so others will also do their own counting. Thank you for watching and joining the giveaway. Good luck on the raffle draw. 🤗
watched 3x and still seeing 7 and thats excluding the one i the indroduction..lol sticking with 7
still keeping my mouth shot, so tempting to reveal how many are there really. hehe. 👍😷
Nice
I say 7 clumsy meters I love the easiness of your soaps what lye solution is that it's great
Hello Dorethea thank you for the compliment. I use 37% lye solution in all of my recipe. Just input that in the soap calc together with your favorite oil mix and you are good to go. You can use this even in swirling and since the concentration is high, the reaction happens faster - I don't use immersion blender anymore. Oh before I forget I soap with all the oils in room temp. I'll confirm the total number of clumsy meter next week so the rest can still join the fun. God bless you and your family. 🤗😙
Great video, how much of each ingredient is needed, and how do you make the lye water? Thank you.
Thanks for the compliment Christie. I shared a recipe here in this video, you can follow the same czcams.com/video/l6vlWndKviA/video.html
Hi Cathy, would you mind sharing what were the thickness and weight of your soap please? I just made my first Pringles mold soap thanks to you and would like to cut accordingly soon.
Hello. That's great! I am happy for you. I cut the bars at 1 inch thickness. Weight would vary depending on the pringles can circumference. Based on observation it normally falls within 90g to 135g, about right and comparable to standard Regular and Large bar soaps after curing. Hope this helps.
god bless you
Thank you so much. God bless you too and your family. ☺️🙏
Hello Cathy! Very nice soap you made in the pringles can!
Please can you tell me how much grams of oils to put inside the soap calculator to fill the pringles can?
Hello. I'm glad that you liked the video. My recent tutorial on how to know your mold capacity and know how much oil do you need for the mold using mysoapcalculator will teach you how. Please watch it at czcams.com/video/xhQPaBXiwsA/video.html feel free to ask if you have any more questions.
What type of glicerin and the amounts to pour for the mixture is it by weight or percentage?
Glycerine is a by product. No need to add extra unless you want to make it transparent or extra moisturizing.
Wouldn't the cardboard you used to separate absorb the moist in the batter?
It would but since the exposure is too short it wouldn't disintegrate. I even collected the thin layer of soap batter that adhered to it and made it into a soap ball. Thank you for watching. 🤗
I counted (7) clumsy 's, But there are only (6) the soap came out beautiful I love the colors.

Thank you so much for the compliment Sandraand6690. I won't say yet on how many are there so others can join the fun. ❤😂
can I have the possible substitute of transparancy film in my case that there aren't avaible in my town?
Yes you can use wax paper or freezer paper and it also work the same. 🤗
oh ok. thank u so much😊
Feel free to ask questions if you have any. You can also join us in our facebook soap group, here is the link: facebook.com/groups/soapmakershub/
Could I use melt and pour with the mold you made??
Hello Sarai Hernandez, definitely yes. I have a video on that using melt and pour. here is the link czcams.com/video/P8JmW80V3bU/video.html 🤗
D' Clumsy Soaper, Cathy thank you so so much ❤️❤️
where can i get a cutter like yours?
this was a gift from my parents. it was customized in China. my friend helped me buy it from her hometown.
mam what fragrance do u use?
Hello Chris. I used Non-accelerating Grapefruit and Bergamot from Nurture Soaps. Thank you for watching. :-)
can i ask where can you buy lye????
Mia de los Reyes i bought it from Amazon. You can also buy it in a local chemical store or in a hardware store (Pure drain cleaner).
Am a Ugandan what can I do to get a full lesson because I want to specialize in baby harb soap
Hello Bbosa Mama. I shared a number of videos here in my channel. It can help you get started. Then to make a recipe visit www.mysoapcalc.com it has a soap calculator and a soap cost calculator. You may join our Fb grp also: facebook.com/groups/soapmakershub
Hi how much oil did you use please
I used 400grams of oil here. You can go to www.mysoapcalc.com/soap this is my very own soap calculator and it has a section for calculation the mold capacity.
Why didn't you use another film to do the inside rolls instead of the cardboard? I think too much soap is wasted in the cardboard.
Very good suggestion Ron. I used the tissue roll to show what other materials we can use. A bit of soap waste is fine with me, if I can share more ways for beginners on tight budget, that we can still be creative by using what is already available. Thinking outside of the box literally and figuratively. Thanks for watching and I really appreciate your comment. 😍
Very easy starting from 15:26 to 16:41 Min..... yea right
I think I made it clear in the beginning of the video that this is longer because I have to show how to use Pringles can as mold then make the CP soap. There are 2 parts.
My friend, if it is not up to your "Standard" I apologize. I cannot please everyone.
I would love to see your video when you make your soap, feel free to tag me @clumsysoaper. I'll be more than happy to spend a couple of hours of my time just to watch your video and probably learn from you since you know how to do it better.
Have a nice day my friend! 👍

Thank you for watching Brooke. ❤️😊
@@clumsysoaper thank you i enjoyed it, i am doing more research into doing this myself as a soap maker
Glad that you liked it. Best of luck. I'm sure you'll enjoy doing this. Soap making is always fun! ❤️🤗
Hi po. Newbie here i want to have my own brand of soap i want to ask what ingredient that makes soap last for at least 1 to 2 yrs
Soap will last more than that. As long as you don't add any fruit/vegetable. Superfat at 10% or less. Formulate the recipe so that the linoleic acid & linolenic acid total is not more than 15%. Keep the soap in a cool dry place.
@@clumsysoaper hi do you have video on how to make kojic soap or any soap that i can use as example for the 1st time thank you so much
Hi Mary. Here is a playlist of soap recipes and more: czcams.com/play/PLAoGYZhhyVBuL2X8DC9Y6TB8F08bhiHKU.html
@@clumsysoaper thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️
Most welcome. 💕
by the way i counted 7 lol
Thanks for always supporting me and for joining the giveaway. I won't say on whether this is the the correct clumsy meter count so others will also do their own counting. Good luck Christina! 😷
Some flaws you are making -- need to put a little mind more at some places -- 1 ) Instead of using thin wooden sticks , use small spatulas -- you have wasted a lot of soap in the process 2) you are doing a very hard work pushing the soap out from the mold --- why not pushing from the opposite end of the mold , it would be much more easier. 3 ) next , line the plastic projector film with a very thin layer of any oil - before placing it in pringles mold - it will further make it more slippery to take out the soap from mold.
Thank for watching. 😊👍
this was not a smooth process. the soap turned out nice though.
Thank you so much watching. Thanks for your feedback. 👍😊
Too much chit chat. Filipino, I assume ? Very good use of materials though.
Thank you for watching and for the comment. I always talk to my soap sisters/bubble brothers here in youtube and/or fb. I like to chit chat so they can get to know me more. Yes! Proud Filipina. 😍 Btw, you can mute the volume if you don't want to listen to chit-chat. Easy-Peasy right? 😀😉
