In 2021, Mud Butter rose from the ashes of the Cleveland rock band Spit Baby! Darryl Scheckel was the guitarist and principal songwriter for the band when he met Vince Votroubek through a mutual acquaintance at rehearsal. Vince joined Spit Baby in August 1994 as the lead singer and drummer. The band wrote original songs and played gigs in the Cleveland area but broke up shortly after Darryl moved to Columbus with a job transfer in 1998. After that, the two lost contact for 22 years...
Darryl and Vince reconnected in 2021, and even though they were 1,026 miles apart, they found ways to bridge the gap! Thanks to the power of the DAW, VST Plug-ins, and Dropbox, Mud Butter was born! - Hudba
