      I'm a fan of Izzy(when he's fighting, not when he's doing his lame Conor impression) but as soon as I actually watched a fight from Jan, I knew he was trouble. With that size disparity, the only way Izzy should have been favored imo was if Jan was slow and plodding. When I saw his first kick in one of his previous fights I was like *gulp* I can easily see him winning this fight. Kicking myself for not betting on him as the underdog.

      He lost his wow factor after that fight. There’s few fighters in ufc that are undefeated that make you wanna watch. Jon Jones and khabib are good examples love them or hate them they are the most interesting fighters just simply due to their records. Now that we know Izzy won’t stand a chance in a different weight class there is no reason to really be hyped for his fights. I could care less to watch him fight guys he’s already beat in the middleweight class over and over. Where as a fighter like Jones there is much potential the fact that he will be going to heavyweight and will probably dominate there is very exciting and that dream for Izzy is now gone

    • @drmindriot
      @drmindriot Před 3 lety +20

      @@jacobross735 You couldn't be more wrong. Izzy went 5 rounds with a man who was 20 to 30 pounds heavier than him, that's 3 rounds longer than Reyes who Jan leveled in the 2nd round, and Jan took out Reyes in 3 rounds less than Jones who had a very controversial decision win. Izzy is clearly head and shoulders above some of the "killers" out there due to his technique. A loss is not a big deal, especially when you go up a weight class. Noone will be able to touch Izzy in the Middleweight division, and he will return to LH with more weight and experience. Izzy is still far from reaching his potential. Every great champion has lost fights, and let's not forget that Jon Jones was caught cheating.
