The truck to eating cupcakes is that you pull off the bottom of the cake and pop it on top of the icing. You now have a cupcake sandwich!
My trick is to take off the icing and throw it away - hahaha!

My wife is a Disney Travel Agent. We have an idea that most people would like to know. Some people have a later plane flight, so they chill by the pool after checkout but need a place to shower afterward. Most of the disney hotels have private showers on property. I think this would be a great idea to show during your hotel challenge. From your biggest fans, Jeffrey and Alison.

I knew these rooms are small, but I am a little surprised at how small they are. It’s hard to imagine a grown-up family of 4 in these rooms. Maybe a couple with some small kids. This is great information. Thank you for doing this.

Love that you are doing this challenge, thanks for your diligent research for all of us! Pro-tip for you for future cupcake eating: take the top off, and then turn it upside down on top of the bottom part. You eat it like a sandwich with the icing in the middle, and don't get icing all over you.
Maestro - I love how you didn't edit out your eating that cupcake. I laughed so hard, but that's because I appreciate your wonderful attitude and all that you do, Chris. I can't wait to see the next one!
It looks like you forgot to mention that all the pools not only have bathrooms & showers (great for your arrival day while you wait for your room to be ready so you can swim)… but there is also a guest laundry at each pool which is available 24/7.
I love that they have massage chairs in the arcade.
When I stayed there in 2004, the housekeeper we had always used a towel to make a cool animal design out of it and set it on the bed. It was such a lovely touch 💜💜💜💜💜. I also thought the pools were incredible looking 🎸🎹 🌸

My biggest memory of staying at Art of Animation is "mine mine mine mine". But when we stayed at Boardwalk my son said it felt like home.

I don’t know if I’ll ever make it to Disney in Florida, but we always make it to Disneyland California planning to be there in September, so excited I always told my kids when I retired. 😁😁I was going to work at Disneyland. thank you CHRIS for the kind words of encouragement. The one major thing I learned when staying at the Disneyworld Resorts is the difference in the bus transportation. The All Stars share buses, so they will stop at all 3 hotels. The value resorts bus stops do not have awnings over them, so you are standing on the hot sidewalk with no covering from the sun. There are also less buses at the value resorts, so your wait time is longer. It is awful if you decide to stay for a fireworks show and take the bus back to the hotel. We have watched other several buses stop at the moderate and deluxe hotel bus stops at the parks, which the value resorts have not had one bus come during the same time. We no longer stay at value resorts for that reason.
When the Cha Cha Slide got to "everybody clap your hands" I instinctively started clapping at my desk without realizing I was doing it. I've been conditioned.
I'd get a pin from every resort!! Yes i am struggling right now. So that speaks to me personally
Musician here. I think multiple of the 2/4 buildings have it as 2/4 instead of 4/4 because they couldn’t spread the “bar lines” in the railings out more. 2/4 is very similar to 4/4. So in most cases it doesn’t really make much of a difference. But that’s my thoughts on that.

So far I'm loving the themes of the gift shops and the fact that the hotels have arcades! I miss arcades so much especially the one in Disneyland

All Star Music was where I was a cast member in the late 90s. I am glad you are beginning with the value resorts and ending with the deluxe resorts.

You should extend this to 23 day and do the 3 Disneyland hotels as well.

When my daughter was 7 we stayed there in 2000 when we checked in the carpet in the room was soaked, one day room service left our door ajar and open for anyone too walk in, it was mostly full of school or youth groups running amok.

A minor quibble: a fiddle will generally have a flatter bridge radius than a violin to aid in playing double-stops. Loving this series so far, can't wait for the swankier facilities.

What a fun idea to visit all the hotels. We a have been annual passholders to Disneyland but surprisingly we have never been to Disney World (What WHAT??!! LOL) Disney World is just so large we really don't know where to start, stay, eat, etc. We have made The Viv in Anaheim one of our top hotels to stay at based on your video and recommendation and will most likely end up booking a Disney World hotel based on your hotel series. Thank you for all the effort. We enjoy your content!

You are rockin’ this one, Chris, and I loved it when you danced with the cast... So much fun! I'm also a big “any kind of rock” fan, as well as an electronica fan. To show my age, I used to tape our LA college rock station (KXLU) while at work on cassette, and when I got home from work, I would copy my favorite songs onto a mix tape and catalog them. ( I know, a very anal retentive and esoteric musical regiment.) 🤩 Loved all the music architecture trivia!

Love your channel. We stayed in there many years ago, in music section. But I thought there is a movies section. They have a 101 Dalmatian area, very cute. You said you are going to Pop Century next, stay there a lot, love it. Big fans Veronica and Todd
Just stayed at the All Star Music in March. Great hotel for the money. Was nice to find a family room with 3 queen beds, 2 bathrooms, and a small kitchen with a full fridge. Really was a perfect room. My only con to this hotel was how many people were on the buses, but I did go during spring break so it was very busy.
When I went down back in 2006. We had our band trip at Disney and we stayed at All Star Music. We were all located in the Country section in the far back.
If you want private transportation to Magic Kingdom it's best to get a Minnie Van. Those drop off where the busses drop off. They also have complimentary car seats for little ones which is awesome.
The main difference between a fiddle player and a violin Player is about $100 a night. A violin has strings while a fiddle has "strangs"

Had a fabulous time and as the children are now all grown adults the Disney magic memories are with us forever. Chris All Star Music is actually our favorite resort after Old Key West. All Star Music also has a family suite that you showed and it is a great use for a family.

Also, you don’t have to love country, but give bluegrass a chance if you haven’t. It’s amazing hearing a musician jam out on a banjo and fiddle…and so much fun dancing to it!
Small FYI... Almost all those Mini Fridges have a dial on the back you can make them run colder if they aren't getting it cold enough...

I loved the Broadway area, especially the park! DH and I would be chilling there for sure! I agree that the trees are a nice addition to the decor. I might have to change my mind about staying at the All Stars!
Good thing you didn’t go in August! Proper way to eat a cupcake. Cut the bread part in half flip so the frosting is in the middle like a sandwich. The frosting becomes like the cream middle of an Oreo. Try it! You can thank me later.
What a great thing to do. One of the reasons I haven’t gone to the Florida resorts (aside being a Lifelong Disneyland fan) is that it seems so complicated and I don’t know folks who have been recently who I can ask for advice. You are providing just the kind of information that may get me over there in the near future.
I prefer any of the on property hotels along the Skyliner route. It’s a lovely ride to the Epcot and Hollywood Studios. From there, we just take the buses. Favorite hotel is Riviera.
Oh the Calypso area is totally my vibe. So pretty. Also, loved, loved, loved watching you try to figure out how to eat that cupcake. I would have dealt with it just as badly I'm sure. Keep up the great work!
I love that you are showing all the areas. I've never seen anyone really break down the areas before and it always left me wondering which area of the resort I would like to stay in. At the All Star Music it would be the Calypso area!
Two bits of information I think that you could add: location and availability of guest laundry facilities and location and quality of fitness center, if any.
I feel the same about country music Chris too much of my wife left me, the cow died or the farm is struggling
Would be neat if you had a handheld IR thermometer for the water bottle tests, so we could see how cold the water bottle is

I have such a soft spot for All Star Music as it was the first on property hotel i ever stayed at.
My go to WDW hotel is the All Star Music. 1st stayed there in 1996 and many times since.
