SJP is SO beautiful. She has aged so gracefully and hasn't done a ton of surgical work (if any)? which is so satisfying and encouraging to see on TV/film nowadays. Actors are under such pressure to be physically perfect and in turn, the main public as well, trying to keep up w/ those representations of perfection. I'm so thankful she's continued her journey and I love her! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜🖤

@@kimberleyhanlon1492 thats actually true and I agree with that part- like instead of saying "you look great for your age", just say "You look great", age doesn't even have to be a factor. But I think sometimes it's so programmed into us we don't even realize it and I think her intentions with her comment were pure and she didn't mean it as an ageism thing. So we should also take that into consideration. But it's a good point and conversation to have!!

SJP is a greedy pig. Shame on her for how she treated KC
They're actually doing a TERRIBLE job of showing people in their 50s. The characters seem totally out of touch with the world around them and they've turned Steve geriatric. Not only is it an inaccurate portrayal of the average 50-something, but it's the exact opposite of inspiring.
Everyone in their 50s has a different experience so how could one speak for them all?

SATC is one of my all time favorite series. I think the writers did an excellent job destroying all the characters. Justice for Steve!
However David Eigenberg who plays the role is probably happy to be collecting another check as its likely his limited availability played a role in how his character was done this year. He is a regular I believe on Chicago Fire

The salary disparities and other perks that SJP received in comparison to her fellow cast members are absolutely GROTESQUE, imo.
Not only could she *NOT* just shut her mouth and mind her own buisness and allow KC to negotiate with the network and studios for a more FAIR AND EQUAL PAY,
but she actively sabotaged and leaked to tabloids and played mean-girl games with KC.

This embarrassing catastrophe reboot has put a spotlight on how KC virtually carried the original series on her back and got no thanks for it.
Arrogantly, SJP and Michael Patrick King believed that SJP was such a beloved "blonde" mega star that they could simply "replace" KC with a shitty snarky stupid storyline and the audience would simply gobble it up- the idea is completely laughable.

SJP might not have 'read anything' (really?) but some top exec at HBO sure will have because AJLT does not meet the HBO standards but rather fits a Hallmark audience. The bad reviews are e-ve-ry-where and righteously so. Both the woke writing, the character arcs ànd horrendous styling was a total mess. Dismissing the core viewers and their justified opinions like MPK has savagely done in the NYT does not help. At least own the criticism. Sit down. Be humble. What is wrong with that? Emily in Paris took the hit and even though the show is still cringe, it did address the criticism and improved in S2. Also The HBO writers podcast is the cringiest thing you will ever listen to. These 'writers' truly believe their work was shakespearian. A bit weird Andy is not being real or upfront about the criticism. Let's all go in denial and pretend this show is a total hit.
On a side note: Regardless of the viewers frustrations I do believe the show can redeem it self if they take the criticism to heart , hire other writers, put in Patricia Field again and approach the forced wokeness in a way The Good Fight brilliantly did where it's less a moral finger pointing at the viewer but more edgy, more thought provoking, more witty and super funny, because that was the core of SATC! At the end of the day, the viewers - which range from age 25 to 50 and older - really love these actresses and this show. Thats why the viewers are responding so vividly in the first place! Yes SATC has it flaws, it was the zeitgeist but pléase stop the forced correct course of PC wokeness! It does not come across genuine and it insults the viewer! At the end of the day I believe true fans of this show all root for AJLT ànd these actresses we followed for years, yes even without KC. And no, age has nothing to do with the disliking of the audience towards this show! Just wanted to add a positive note as well. Fingers crossed for S2. But please...the writing!!! ;)
