Eddie Mcginty from a life of crime to serving time, from drug addiction to recovery! RAW & UNCUT EP

In this EP of Real Talk, Tru stories Eddie Mcginty joins the #rttspodcast to share his story of change, he gave a lot of time to the system and wants to see the youth do better!
Eddie Mcginty born and raised in West Drayton an area based on the outskirts of West London by Heathrow Airport, 3 Siblings to an English mother and a Irish father, in his early years Eddie describes himself as “Naughty” getting into trouble as young as 10, stealing milk floats, bikes and fighting regular at school.
Eddie quickly found himself involved in crime starting young things escalated from petty theft into heavy commercial burglary's this led Eddie into Feltham young offenders in 1995 which he describes as a juvenile jungle as inmates ranged from 15 to 21 years old with no segregation.
Feltham was a training ground for future criminals to link up and share connections, Eddie hit the streets with a whole new learning and upped his game! his next run in with the law he stood trail for an alleged gun possession but at this point felt the police just had it in for him based on younger events.
Eddie went on to serve 15 years across different prisons such as Whitmoor, mount, Lewes, Alysbury, Reading, Scrubs, Belmarsh to name a few! he shares some prison tales, jail break stories and some unfortunate things that happened behind the walls in some of the most notorious jails in the united kingdom.
Back out on the streets with a fierce reputation Eddie took on the drug game ultimately this led him down a dark path of becoming a user, something that started small and casual which led to a deep addiction on booze and powder. Married and even starting a legit removals clearance business Eddie faced a new challenge which was seeking help for drug abuse! It led him down such a dark path that he was depressed and unhappy to a point that he contemplated suic!
His family stuck by him and pushed him into getting help, he seeked help anonymously and after 9 months sober he is now the person on the other end of the line who will run to help a person struggling from abuse.

Tbf in the uk life is like 12 years doing half of it, so depending on what year he bumps into them of course that can be true. Plus the guy got extradited which means he might not of had to serve the full term. Doesn’t sound unrealistic, just my opinion.
