Welcome to the official Laver Cup CZcams channel. Laver Cup Vancouver 2023 runs from September 22-24 at Rogers Arena. The tournament takes place for the sixth time and features some of the best players in the world. Björn Borg captains Team Europe, consisting of Casper Ruud, Andrey Rublev, Hubert Hurkacz, Gael Monfils, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Arthur Fils. John McEnroe captains Team World, consisting of Felix Auger-Aliassime, Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe, Tommy Paul, Francisco Cerundolo and Ben Shelton. Team Europe’s vice captain is Thomas Enqvist and Team World’s vice captain is Patrick McEnroe. Team World are the reigning champions after winning at London 2022.

Me and buddies were joking 4 years ago how Team World will NEVER have a chance. But that’s when they had Fedal, Djokovic and Murray. Now it’s going to be a more level playing field.
but like if Djokovic or Alcaraz came through they probably won xD
Team World won the cup last year 2022 with all Big 4 in Team Europe, but to be fair 3 of the members had challenging period (Murray's hip, Nadal's wife pregnant and Roger's unfit for singles)

They lost but proud of them, they came to play and were happy for being at laver cup.For players like Alcaraz and Sinner this cup is not in their plans, they doesn't care about it, so proud of these guys, they have a great spirit hopefullly next year will be better

Love that Monfils got to play in LC, who knows how many yrs he will play. Sad that Europe lost, but i think its good to bring some young players on a team once in awhile, so fans get to know them
Great tennis played by Europe. I enjoyed the games very much. Unlucky they couldn’t take a couple matches there.
Borg isn't happy he is a winner but they didn't have a team of winners.

Part of the reason why World won is because, in general, the best tennis players are in the United States (okay, Paul didn't come through this year)😁
