User of Salnotes Zero IEM last 1 years.
Especially ijust wanna say that the audio output is crystal clear and the sound signature also good. There is no deep bass but just adjusted so listening voucal and instrumental music also recomented to use this IEM.
And highly recomented for BGMI gaming. (Eagle gaming using the same IEM).

I started listening to music from an iem 3 months back.
I am using moondrop chu 2 with ddhifi dac.
Subscribed to apple music which is the cheapest way to listen to lossless and hi-res audio in India that I know of.
My opinion:
I'm new to the audiophile community, although I have seen or rather heard my share of lossless and hi-res audio content in the meantime. Hi-res audio and lossless audio( cd quality) used to be the only way of listening in the olden times when people used to carry around portable cassete or cd players.
When the computer or digital era came since the computer memory was limited, they were compressed(mp3) and there was significant loss of audio and instrument clarity.
But still hi-res audio have had it's audience throughout the years even though many of us lost our way in search of wireless gadgets. I'm very certain about myself that I'm never buying a tws in the future to listen to music as this world of lossless music conquered me. It's that good.

If you want to experience the vocals and the instruments more, you can go for tangzu.
If your playlist consists of bass oriented songs such as edms, and you like to hear more bass go for moondrop.
Either one you choose you will not go wrong.
Only remember to watch the product description or reviews on the sound signature to be on the safe side.
Moondrop chu 2 came as a flagship killer in the iem market, hence the hype around it in the audiophile community.

I own a Moondrop Chu. It might not please the majority because of the analytic sound signature.
I will suggest 7Hz Salnotes Zero 2 for most listeners. It has a Harman tuning. Tangzu Wan'Er is also a good choice.

Was planning to buy Tanzu waner jade green but it is currently out of stock. There are lot of options out there you can get according to your music preferences.
Notes
1.Eartips play a crucial role in a good seal which will provide good bass and all
2.Choose according to your music preference.There are warm , dark ,balanced, neutral etc
3.A dedicated Dac can make a good difference but not great
4.Cables usually don't change anything regarding sound.Its purely based on aesthetic and durability.
5.Get a streaming platform which supports lossless audio or in case of offline playback you can download flac or any format files and combine it with a usbpp or any player which can bypass it.
6.Can use apps like wavelet to eq to a certain extent.(Eq could solve minor issues not major ones)
You cants expect budget iems to aound like premium ones

KZ edx pro is a more cheaper option in IEMs for beginners. I have been using it since couple months, for the price it's the best out there fs.

TBH, buying a Digital-to-Analog Converter or DAC and an IEM with a normal 3.5 mm jack is better than buying the same IEM with a type-c jack. It is because type-c IEM options are really scarce in the market. There are only few models which has got a type-c variant in the IEM market, out of which most are budget models. If you go for a DAC and a 3.5 mm IEM, you can upgrade the IEM in the future if you prefer. When I thought of buying an IEM, I too initially considered buying a type-c variant. But then I had second thoughts and bought a DAC + 3.5mm IEM combo.

Type C is actually better than 3.5mm jack only if you have a DAC. DAC inbuilt ആയിട്ട് വരുന്ന ഫോണുകൾ കുറവാണ്. വരുന്നത് ഒക്കെ അത്ര ക്വാളിറ്റി ഉണ്ടാവില്ല. But, recently launch ആയ moondrop ന്റെ ഫോൺ ഇൽ High Quality DAC + 3.5mm ആണ്. Type C Phone ആണേൽ you should really try KZ AM01 DAC. Its Damn good. Far far better than a normal 3.5mm jack.
Currently using KZ EDX ULTRA + KZ AM01 DAC. TWS ഒക്കെ completely ഉപേക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടി വന്നു.. അജ്ജാതി ക്വാളിറ്റി 🔥

I use moondrop chu 2 with fiio btr5 as my daily driver.. and I don't agree with many of things you are saying.
1. It's not very durable and starts developing channel balance issue very quickly. The chu 1 also had these issues, and it was not possible to solve it. This one has removable mesh which can be cleaned, but it's still not a good design.
2. The bass is very tight, but the sub bass is a bit suppressed.
3. The highs can be a bit too much for people, it's ok for me, but it wont appeal to everyone.
4. With all these metal iems with removable cables, corrosion at the leads is a very serious issue for people who live in Kerala.
5. Although wires are replaceable, its more than half the price of iem itself, so you are better off buying a new iem.
13:05 its not about just tweaking, you need lossless audio to be listened in the first place like you said, now to tweak there is this awesome app, wavelet! which is extremally good, then you need a proper DAC! with moondrop chu 2 c type its fixed... but the source with lossless audio is important! if you listen to Spotify and all, there will only be a little difference... apple lossless makes a world of difference...
