Danny, you should become a Marriott Bonvoy member and get their credit card. Once you attain platinum level the paid breakfast buffet should be free at all Marriott properties.
Their Platinum challenge will also get him there. 16 nights is all it takes. This property has a concierge lounge on the 28th floor with breakfast, evening appetizer, snacks and drinks. The buffet would be free if the lounge was closed and if he was staying at that hotel.
I will consider that guys, as well as the challenge thing.
All American breakfast cost only 100 Baht in Bangkok, Thailand!, which is about 3 USD. 17 USD plus tip is too much!

I had reservations at that posh 4 star hotel before I canceled my trip! I think I would've missed you by 1 or 2 days! That 4 star hotel has a lounge on the 28th floor for Platinum elite and above members for breakfast and evening appetizers. I definitely would've invited you in the lounge as my guest if we were there at the same time. I understand that you said that you were at the "random posh 4 star hotel that you were not staying in". Breakfast, evening appetizers, snacks and drinks would've been free in the lounge had you stayed at this hotel as a Platinum member. With all the Marriott's you've stayed at this year, you should be close to a Platinum member. Getting the credit card or doing a "Platinum Challenge would get you there.
the pricing here is just wayyyy too much. i went with the $60/day extended stay america. i regretted it at first but i survived the 10 days of low end hotel and saved the extra 800 bucks it woulda took for me to stay at a residence inn marriott. which was 130 a night
That looked like a really nice presentation of a breakfast platter. The quality seemed good. That strawberry piece made for a nice garnish as well.

Better savings- go to McD sausage McMuffin Combo with coffee. Best deal in town! Perhaps not as tasty or eloquent as this breakfast but you will save $10 or more. Lol.
my guess is, they are charging to keep the “rif raf” out, who sneak in for free meals. bryan and i have seen that happen.

Morrison's on spring Dale Mall had a classic breakfast buffet but I don't know if it reopened after the pandemic
I stopped ordering a la cart because sometimes they use the same food from the Buffet my uncle worked in a Hotel as a cook

not at all. the grits AND potatoes come with it, but the english muffin was extra, because I asked for the muffin and the waitress (perhaps new) said it did not come with the breakfast, but it was listed, but I didnt wanna make a fuss and I assume the waitress knows best so I didnt inisist. then when she came out, she said that she did have muffin after all so I was like oooooooooooo
Protein is in a lot of things (Certainly not scouting, but a lot of things) but just because something contains protein it doesn’t make that item a particularly good source of it. Rice has protein but nobody eats rice specifically for its protein content. Same with potatoes, oats and even some breads. They are primarily sources of strarchy carbs, usually simple carbs.

u know, I never look it up in detail, or at least if I did, I no longer remember. I just know that I like the neutral taste of it.
My favorite meal to eat out is breakfast. That breakfast looks amazing. I know, food and travel, guys, but that sausage wasn't going down without a fight.

my hotel was a cheap place their so-called breakfast was some muffins, granola, bar, and coffee. It was nothing great. also, of course I wanted to make a video of this fancy looking thing.

You’re not getting free breakfast at a Renaissance
its a paradox... at the motel 6 u get coffee, at the extended stay america they give you some cold muffins and coffee, at the quality inn, its a breakfast with make your own waffles, at the residence inn, you get hot breakfast, it seems like the more you spend in hotel, the breakfast gets better... then I go to the renaissance which is the most expensive and no breakfast! not even free coffee in the lobby... it boggles the mind!
I would have driven to a Denny's or Waffle House.
Theres a waffle house right next to my cheap motel! hmmm I think all waffle houses are next to a cheap motel...
