the hinge on hp laptop design will always have a bit of problem ....i have been using for 2 years from home and also during study...it wont last long...it will either break the base or keyboard deck of the laptop since its made of plastic...

my mom had that same laptop or a very similar one. the hinge fell apart after using it for literally one year. i got her a macbook pro and she couldn’t be happier, and i salvaged parts out of the hp before throwing it away, where it belongs.

Got the same laptop, it's no surprise it's broken like that, it's all hard plastic and it bends with the slightest force applied. Heats up quick and cools down just as quick.

@@gaming_fanatics701 they're similar really, material is the same, body is also similar but my 15s does not have an Ethernet port but it does have 3 USBs, 1 type c, 1 sd card and a headphone jack. So many ports and they removed the Ethernet...

When i was 5 i accidentally did something similar, we didint repair it until i was 8 or 9 because i was playing inside with my neighbors and they hit it hard and the screen literally went off the laptop thank god it was fixed

Hi my name is Shadow can you fix my phone my phone is broken the top of the ages old and crack have black screen on it
Single channel RAM always scares me, one day it will give me heart attack.
Manufacturers please STOP doing this, it's not cheaper, and it's a lot worse than a proper RAM configuration.
That being said, I will take any laptop with bad RAM config over any MacBook with trash non repairable design.
Last year bought a used HP laptop which has a Ryzen 3 3300U with Vega 6 GPU for $50 US dollars. It came with a 1TB 5400rpm HDD and only single stick of 4GB of DDR4.
The previous owner disliked how darn sluggish it ran for obvious reasons of course. I ended up replacing the HDD with an SSD which I already had on hand and installed 16GB worth of DDR4. Now the laptop boots up in 12 seconds from push of power button to login screen.
