Might I request another video such as this one? If I may say so, this has been the most delightful English lesson I've ever had the pleasure to witness. Were it not for your incomparable skills as an educator, I wouldn't be able to comprehend such sophisticated vocabulary and how to properly apply it. I crave for more lessons such as this one and would be delighted if you could quench my thirst for more. This video has been extremely satisfying to watch. I've learned more than I had hoped for and I couldn't keep myself from smiling all the way until the end. Sincerely. Cheers! 😊
PS: Lucy = BET (Best English Teacher)!!!
Lucy, use this example in a class. Excellent!
Well versed pal
LOVE It 😂😂😂😂😂
Sincerely,
This is level5 compliment 😂well done
This video is absolutely hilarious! 😄 I'm trying to imagine Lucy at McDonald's ordering the food on the level 5, and after a long stare, the customer service person would be like: "And is there possibly ANYTHING else I can help you with, Princess Lucy?" 😂😂😂 Thanks for the video and happy holidays to you and your family Lucy! Love from Finland ❤🇫🇮
Or it could happen in Hesburger
LOL 😂
I can't help but imagine her with a curled moustache, a tiny top hat and a monocle while delivering the line.
More like, a cheeseburger with crispy fries and do you wanna have a drink?
@@mabrurhrivu4998 and dressed in a tailcoat of course :-)
You should make a video about asking someone out at C1-C2 level. The last level would be hilarious (and poetic)!
That’s a smashing idea!
As a McDonald's staff, don't come to my counter 🙊
LUCY PLS MAKE MORE ADVANCED VOCABS! I’m literally obsessed with them. Please make more of the advanced vocabs with certain topics.
HI LUCY ! this video helps a lot especially when someone wants to order food not specially in Mcdonald's may be in another restaurant . I wanted to say that this video is so useful i liked it so much and i loved the vocabulary that you used .I am thankful
I love you, Lucy! It' the most hilarious advanced English lesson I've ever had in my life combined with the perfect delivery by the best lecturer in the world :).
Thank you Lucy. I'd love to learn Advanced English from you with C1 Level. First level is easy for me, but other four levels of Advanced English is quite difficult for me, but I will learn it Lucy.
Hilarious, fun and educational as always. Keep up the brilliant work, Lucy.
I've been thoroughly enjoying this series and by far this one is a nightmare for the worker, yet a masterpiece for English learners 😂. l have learned a plethora of words, expressions, and grammatical structures that l would have learned without your fabulous C1 lessons. Could you please craft another masterpiece taking about seasons? l would really appreciate it. ❤
Thanks Lucy as usual amazing session 😄
Thank you so much best teacher in the world to show us the way to improve
❤ English ❤❤
Lucy you're just a wonderful teacher, you definitely have it in your genes. I must find the time to subscribe to one of your courses sooner or later
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for your hard work and dedicated teaching, which has been incredibly productive. Thank you for breaking down each passage into understandable bits.
You're a fantastic teacher. I love that you teach both English and american English (the one I'm more familiar with). Love your work. Greetings from Mexico ❤❤
That was brilliant! Thank you so much, Lucy! Keep doing this format, that's absolutely hilarious and very informative! The next idea might be 'Debates' or 'How to say someone is wrong, and prove your idea and convince others'.
What a brilliant idea for video Lucy, Thanks! :)
Good afternoon Lucy.
I hope this message finds you well thank you for the very elequent English lesson. 🙂
I wish my cousin had seen this video before he came to Canada 10 years ago, his English is so basic to the point he had trouble ordering coffee every morning. Great video and very practical!
Thank you so much for the lesson 🙌
I don't have any problem to talk in English with my friend in U.S or Europe, but your explanation is always helps me and I learned new things.
Appreciate your lesson.
Aaaah, Lucy, I absolutely love your videos! Thank you!
I find this lesson very useful, anyway It enriches my vocabulary and that'so good. Thankyou
OMG, this piece is hilarious 😂 I haven't come out with my order yet but I wanna say sth. When watching the setence of level 3, I started to feel that the food descrived as they were in a Michelin restaurant rather than in Mc' Donald 😆 And for the next video in your crazy advanced series I'd like to see how you do with romantic issue 😄
I love lessons of this type with advanced language and paying attention to the grammar and words used.Thank you! 🍔🙂 It's a great way for improving our knowledge of English and also interesting! 💖
Glad to see you again with a usefull video Lucy 😍😍😍♥️♥️♥️
*This class is absolutely awesome 'n' fabulous, Lucy! Additionally, it's exactly what I'm searching for to boost 'n'* *enrich my English vocabulary!👌*
*Keep it up, Dear Teacher Lucy!!!👍👍👍*
'n' is kinda outdated, isn't it?
Good stuff, thx.
Another ideas? Maybe chees shop, I`ve gto an example.
Well, I was, uh, sitting in the public library on Thurmon Street just now, skimming through 'Rogue Herrys' by Hugh Walpole, and I suddenly came over all peckish.
And I thought to myself, 'a little fermented curd will do the trick', so, I curtailed my Walpoling activites, sallied forth, and infiltrated your place of purveyance to negotiate the vending of some cheesy comestibles!
Wonderful - language beyond my imagination. You uplifted me today!
Thank you for trying to revive our eye for the spark of playfulness in advanced language. The latest couple of generations have grown ever more blind to that particular delight, and not only in English. High-flown is automatically seen as boring these days, which can be quite frustrating if entertainment literature happens to be your day job.
Oh Im very early. I recommend your channel to one of my English teachers and she started to play your videos in class sometimes. She still does haha.
Great video. Thanks Lucy for interesting lessons
Might I request another vocabulary video? I would adore a medical one with informal and advanced vocabulary about symptoms.
Thank you very much in advance. I'm completely hooked on your channel😍
Level 5 sounds like what Gregg Wallace would have spoken in the Masterchef uk competition 😂 Thanks for sharing Lucy, it’s fun to learn!
How about wishing Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in a super advanced English level. During these holidays people use cliche or cheesy expressions when sending texts messages or emails to their loved ones, friends, and acquaintances. Thank you for your great talent at teaching English.
As an American native speaker and grammar nerd, I am impressed with this lesson and wish you were also teaching Italian. It must be delightful to be learning English from you.
As an Italian, I confirm: it’s great!
Amazing English lesson. Thank you so much . Have a good weekend ☺👍
This has astonished my brains thank you Tr. Lucy blessings
Hi Lucy! Thank you for interesting and funny lesson. An other idea for next video, if you will think is good may be “how make a booking a room in the hotel by calling straight to reception 😅
06:25 if you order like that in the UK or US, you can guarantee the car in back of you in the drive-thru is going to honk its horn, the person making it will spit on the burger and the order taker will ask you to repeat it. Do not do that.
Don't say I didn't warn you :'D
@@EnglishwithLucy yes, you did!!! However, the reality is, no one is that polite at the window. Here’s how it really goes. “ I’ll have a burger, large fries and large coke. “ Next……. Now,if you want to pay $30 quid for a burger, then you can ask for a dollop of this and a dash of that.
💯
Thank you. I was waiting for a new video
Love your ordering in restaurant series, looking for more different situations
This is an absolute fun video to enjoy.
Lucy you nailed it!
The best teacher in the world❤❤
I think that hyphenating adverbs ended in -ly is one of the better inventions in English and it helps in reading especially when learning English as a second language, allowing to group the words in a fast manner. So I will strongly follow and lobby for the opposite school. Get used to such changes in future if you already decided to rule the whole world with English.
Very hard work definitely ❤❤
Thank you for your great lesson.
Love your magnificent video🧡🧡🧡
Can you make another example.
I hate Macdonald's
All the good people hate McDonald's For two reasons
Before the Palestinian war i wasn't fan of McDonald's cause i can't taste the meat
After the Palestinian war I will not touch the entrance of McDonald's
Thank you, Lucy❤
Thank you for the lesson, Lucy 😊😊😊.
Wow, I loved this video!
Well, Lucy the orders after the first one might not be acceptable in McDonald's but my teachers will love it if I use it in my essays. Thank you very much for the video.
Incredible lesson ❤,remarcable
This is very funny ! Thank you for your english lecture.
This is epic Lucy you’ve just made a video that’ll be viewed for centuries
You're amazing!! I really learn with your videos! Greeting from El Salvador
Such a wonderful lesson and expanded vocabulary like always.

Perhaps you might prepare a lesson on booking a hotel, restaurant or schedulling an appointment or arranging a date. it was a great video, thank you Lucy
Hilarious! But such a great idea for teaching advanced language. Thanks, Lucy
Great video as always, I'm wondering if anyone used this and still alive 😄
Keep up the good work, it's always a pleasure to see your videos and always something to learn new
👏
With such simplicity of tongue, yet such sophistication of thought, thou hast enraptured mine eyes and ears by thy didactic artistry.
How I long to behold the countenances of those who serve thee, or labour under thee, as they strive to grasp and appreciate the profundity of thy discourse.
For even a meagre portion of thy wisdom would suffice to satiate my thirst for knowledge.
Bro turned into Shakespeare
Thank you very much🙌 gorgeous teacher🌷🌹 for great lesson👍💕❤
Brilliant!!
Hi Lucy, I hope you’ll like my order! 🙂
Were I not feeling slightly peckish, I wouldn’t have such a great desire for your world-famous, golden- brown cheeseburger. But since I am and I do, I was wondering if you could possibly create one following my simple and unassuming recipe invented by my late great-uncle. Let us refrain from dismissing the slightest detail, no matter how infinitesimal it may seem prima facie. My recipe requires a burger bun made from premium quality, windmill-ground, wholesome Canadian flour; baked in an oven fuelled by charcoal cut and carbonised in the Rockies. Now, far be it from me to be overly fastidious, but might I put forward a proposal for having the meat patty shaped more oval than round by a hair's breadth? Parenthetically, should you decide to enhance the flavour of my burger with a dash of the finest Dijon mustard France has to offer, appended with a modicum of hand-picked, freshly and finely ground horse-radish, I wouldn’t even dream of cajoling you out of doing so. Now, coming to the fries, I deem it absolutely superfluous to formulate my opinion of how crunchy and crispy they should be, scintillating with a iota of sea salt crumbs, imported from a sun-drenched Greek island, for it is obvious and self-evident that I couldn’t and shouldn’t expect less. I’ll finish it off with an ice-cold - but under no circumstances overcooled! - glass of Coke in which the bubbles show a perfectly even size and distribution.
Best regards, Nick from Hungary
This is absolute wild 🙂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣@@toeibabhatt9021
The guy quits his job right after taking this monstrosity of an order 😂😂😂😂
@a.h.5996 … if not worse! 😂
Advanced level is suitable for picky people. I had been working in restaurant industry for so many years in Canada. Most of my Canadian customers used basic level lol
If you also use level 5 in every restaurant you go, I would suggest you to leave restaurants’ staff some good tips 😊
Or people with allergies?
I feel positive in life after seeing your video
Thank you so much❤
Nice to help English language emproving 🎉❤
best class ever made
多謝!
Best tuition, we're still learning!
Hilarious !
Thank you Lucy.
I love these fun extreme videos xx
Great lesson ❤❤❤❤
🥰🥰
Amazing!
Great effort Lucy
Thank u Lucy ❤❤❤
Thank you❤
Thank you very much
So good that I clicked on your e-mail and watched the video before dawn - I know what lunch I´m going to eat today! Althought, in my home country the workers of McDonald´s will be probably quite shocked after such an eloquent order in English. ... LATER ... I´ve written my comment before your notice not to do this, but I leave it here. "If I may." And I promise I´ll be polite at McDonalds.
Buying the travel tickets and booking an accommodation would be nice topic to advance our English. I think the whole industry suffers of the lack of advanced communication. 🙂
Thanks Lucy...🙏 You're amazing...
It was a really fun video i like it ❤
It was really fun! I learnt many things. It would be great to have an example in a show or dress shop or maybe at the hairdresser saloon.. Have a great day and be careful ordiering at MC Donald'S
